Bottle courtesy bu11zeye. Pours a clear dark orange to red color. Round ring of white head. Aroma is light caramel grains with sweet perfume. Flavor is dry grain and nutty. Small sweetness but finishes with sunflower husks.

Bottle 330ml. Color very dark brown with small creamy head. Aroma coffee, grain. Taste was weak, grain, coffee.

Warning! Early amateur rating! Very dark Bock. Rich and smooth, lots of depth. Slightly creamy. Long malty finish, no bitterness.

Pitch black beer. if you like a bock with coffee and chocolate hints this is a beer for you. Right amount of alcohol too.

Bottle: Light brown foamy head on top of a deep dark cloudy brown to almost black beer. Smelled apple, cinnamon, caramel and malts. Taste is a fine mix of liquorice, cinnamon, roasted malts, hints of coffee and grass. Bit watery and light taste, low carbo. Nice light coffee, spicy and light grassy aftertaste.

Nose: caramel and fruis. Taste: dominated by spices and sweet caramel. Hints of dried fruit and bitternes. Burnt in the aftertaste.

33CL Bottle bought at the bierkoning in Amsterdam. A dark beer and a puddle of a head. The aroma is sweet and fruity with the alcohol noticeable. The taste has blackberry notes and it is a bit smoky. There are notes of burnt wood as well. Not a special beer, but its drinkable.

On tap at Pint Bokbierfestival 09. Dark reddish brown colour, off white head. Aroma of roasted malts, fruits, caramel. Flavour is caramel, roasted malts, spicy, bit burnt, good caramelly burnt finish. Medium bodied. One of the better of the festival.
