(Bottled) Very hazy amber color with a small, but lasting and lacy head. Very yeasty and fruity aroma with some ginger-peppery spiciness. Somewhat acidic, slightly sour, dryish and very fruity flavor with lots of malt, some caramel, fermented strawberries and yeast. Medium to full-bodied palate with smooth carbonation. Not unlike Struise Witte, this one has lots of maltiness, flavor, and character. A very pleasant surprise overall. reakt (951) - Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 20, 2006
UPDATED: SEP 2, 2007 Bottle from Utobeer. Looks like a jar of dense, opaque honey, with the white wax coating on top. Strong nose of honey, orange, raisin and rum. Crisp, medium body. Tastes quite strongly of pineapple with berry undertones. Exotic juice! Very natural - a pleasant change from the artificial fruit flavour in many beers. Pretty lacing. A short, bitter finish. A fine wit...quirky twist on the Belgian variety.

An OK wit. It left me a little cold for some reason - nothing grabbed me. A solid if unispired beer. Maria (10211) - Thisted, DENMARK - APR 4, 2008
The Fonefan/Brugmansia Cnudde tasting. Courtesy of Fonefan/Brugmansia. Light golden with a big-bubbly head. The aroma has notes of wheat and spices, mostly coriander. The flavour is sweet with notes of candy sugar (a little cloying), spices, malt and the finish has light citrus. It’s pretty sweet, but still very easy and pleasant to drink.

330ml bottle from Bacchanalia, Cambridge. Drunk 17/03/13. Contains: Pils malt, wheat, orange, coriander, hop. Hazy, light yellow. Pours decent white head, not lasting. Mid carbonation. Aroma - Typical Wit. Bit more spicy & orangey than normal. Wheaty. Taste - Fairly sweetish for a Wit. Lot of juicy orange and soft spiciness. Quite wheaty tasting. Good, aromatic spice and good hops. Also, a kind of grapey sweetness. Orange oil is a little bit too much. Quite a tangy, spicy finish, with some decent citrus hop, but only a light bitterness. Orange & spice aftertaste, with a tingling sensation left on the tongue. Creamy, wheaty and tangy mouthfeel, with bit of astringency of finish. Med body. Decent Wit, though maybe a bit too sweet body (gets almost sickly at times) and not outstanding, though some nice spice & citrus notes. Desverger (13727) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - AUG 31, 2015

Slightly hazy orange golden colour with small white head.
Spices and fruits in mildish aroma.
Flavour is also fruity with wheat, spices, malt and some sourness. Very smooth and creamy. Quite different Witbier. Alcohol warms quite a lot.

Thin white head. Hazy blond. Quite refreshing.
