Hunsell (403) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - MAY 2, 2005
Darkbrown coloured beer, white head, leaves a lace. Slightly roasted aroma, sweet. Sweet taste with notes of ’drop’, lingering bitterness. Just a bit thin on the palate but all in all very nice brew.

sayravai (4710) - Helsinki, FINLAND - DEC 23, 2007
(Bottled) Very dark brown with a small, beige head (some yeast in the bottle). Sweetish and grainy dark toffee maltiness and dark fruit in the aroma. Roasted-malty, lightly vinous, fruity and grainy-malty flavor with chocolate, and some ashiness, but low bitterness in the finish. Yeast makes the flavor quite pleasant and smooth. Medium-bodied, somewhat foamy-carbonated palate. Very balanced and quite nice overall.

RichardGretton (4770) - Leicestershire, ENGLAND - JAN 24, 2010
Bottle. Black beer with a slightly reddish tinge and a very strong head. The aroma is bitter, roasted and slightly sweet chocolate, and the flavour is gently roasted and mildly bitter. Overall a nice roasted dark beer.

Comments: An original, highly spicy, roasty and coherent dark ale that does not exaggerate neither sweetness nor acidity.

Weird beer. I found it hard to pinpoint what it tastes like, but I liked it. Good effort.
