2.1
stobbe74 (3789) - DENMARK - OCT 4, 2010
Bottle, 50cl. Pours a clear and dark amber beer with an offwhite head. The aroma is malt, caramel, sweetness and diacetyl. The flavor follows the nose with some additional alcohol. The palate is sweetness. Overall a beer below average with too much sweetness.

Brix (660) - DENMARK - MAR 30, 2010
Tasted 2010-03-30. Bottle courtesy of Naja and Boe. Pours amber with beige head. Scent is a little too sweet (cloyingly so) for my liking. That doesn’t bode well. Taste isn’t much better. Molasses and metal dominates. I won’t have it again, I think. The wife liked it though.

1.6
Blom (843) - Sorø, DENMARK - FEB 22, 2010
Amber with decent head. Malty aroma with notes of caramel and nuts. The flavour is sweet, a bit sour and dominated by alcohol.

2.7
SkipperHoyer (31) - Copenhagen V, DENMARK - FEB 11, 2010
Amber golden colour. Nuttty cream head, long-lasting. Absent nose. Perhaps stony? Taste was metallic, burnt, with deep plum notes. Typical "luxury" beer, where "luxury" denotes high alcohol content. Pleasant, couldn’t drink more than one.

deyholla (11609) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - NOV 29, 2009
Bottle. Poured amber with a thin off-white head. Aroma had strong alcohol notes with some underlying caramel malt. There were strong alcohol notes as well in the flavor. Beer was very thick on the tongue.

2.5
JanVittrup (243) - København V, DENMARK - SEP 27, 2009
Amber, some pilsner like foam. Fairly uncomplex malty aroma, some hint of alcohol. Very much a ’guld øl’. Strong alcohol, some hop and malt. Not my thing. Medium-thin body, a little fizz. Not my style. Purchased in SuperBrugsen Halmtorvet.

2.5
rsmeds (228) - Turku, FINLAND - AUG 29, 2009
Bottle. Pours a clear, deep amber, with a generous, foamy off-white head. Fairly uninteresting flavor mainly of caramel malts, with alcohol and slightly metallic hops in the background. Very faint malt & hop aroma. Light body, soft carbonation, smooth mouthfeel.

2.6
TBone (17587) - Pori, FINLAND - AUG 21, 2009
Bottled (BB 08/2009). Deep amber color, good beige head. Caramel, grass, some berries in the nose. Flavor is similar, some grass, a bit grainy, caramel malts and berries. Some Scandinavian XMas beers are similar. This is not an ESL.

2.7
oh6gdx (26488) - Vasa, FINLAND - AUG 21, 2009
Bottled. Rubyish amber colour with mediumsized beige foamy head. Aroma is caramel, wood, mild grassy notes as well as some sweetish sour notes. Flavour is grainy, rather sweet, some distinct alcoholic sweet stinging notes as well as mild toffeish notes.
