Bottle. Pours a hazy golden amber with a big, creamy beige head. Aroma is sweet and malty; notes of molasses and bread, and an overtone of honey. Flavour is pretty much the same, with a fat note to it. Sweet, bread finish with a medium bitterness, a tart note and some notes of metal lingering. Alcohol touch as it warms. Although not fantastic, I was still pleasantly surprised by this one, as De 5 Gaarde brews tend to suck the big one. 04.04.12. Theis (15151) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JAN 30, 2012
