Aroma is moderate malty, bread - dark bread, caramel, rye bread, brown sugar. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, sweet sugary malt, brown sugar, dark fruit, light burnt caramel - brown sugar. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Copenhagen 11/1 2017. 50 cl bottle from Irma. Dark green label with drawing of a Farm building and some advertisements about "Proud Traditions". According to the Brewery this beer is "full bodied with a pleasant roasted flavor". Can hardly wait. Pours dark reddish brown with small white head. Pretty dark for a Vienna. Head settles as patchy remnants of foam drifting around. Aroma is sweet. Sugary with caramel, roasted malts and cardboard. Medium carbonation and slightly thick palate. Flavor is sweet - but not especially heavy. Followed by quite light bitterness. One of the better ones from Harboe - which is not saying very much. But it reminds me more of a Schwarz bier than a Vienna. Karstenborg (1075) - Hasselager, DENMARK - NOV 5, 2016

Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass zippy, copper coloured, nice head. Malty-moldy aroma. Starts mild, malty, more and more hoppy-grasy, a bit moldy. Some soapy-dry notes. Finish more moldy. Not my favourite. ken1 (2003) - DENMARK - NOV 12, 2015
