Janroos (7) - NETHERLANDS - JAN 27, 2015 does not count
Kruidnagel, caramel,

Currently I am updating my ratebeer with al the beers I drank but was too lazy to rate at the time. I give the scores I gave back than. If I drink the beers again I might re-rate them.

A little bit hazy in appearance. Aroma is a bit bland but the taste is fabulously spicy with notes of nutmeg.

Schuimkraag heeft wat aanmoediging nodig. Weinig koolzuur, prettig. Geen duidelijke hoofdsmaak, wel kruidig. Prettige Aparte beetje kruidnagel achtige nasmaak

33cl bottle at home. Pale yellow/orange with a medium white soapy head. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Sweet with herbal bitterness. Flower, citrus, yeast, malt, herbs (clove) and some fruits. A too herbal triple for my taste.

jmgreenuk (9551) - Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA - JUL 31, 2014
Bottle from Biernavigatie. Poured a hazy medium amber with a thin white head. The aroma is big yeast, malt, caramel and some citrus fruit. The flavour is medium bitter with a light sweet malt, fruit palate with a little alcohol. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. I didn’t dislike this beer. It was quite tasty and I don’t get the relatively low ratings.

blackisle (2640) - Amsterdam IJburg, NETHERLANDS - JUL 18, 2014
Bottle 33 cl. Clear orange amber color, good frothy white head, good retention and lacing; aroma sweet malty, yeast, bread, cloves and cinnamon, light citrus; taste medium sweet, slightly bitter, cloves, cinnamon; medium to full body, oily texture; smooth bittersweet finish, cloves.

PietS (318) - Bergen op Zoom, NETHERLANDS - JUN 18, 2014
The beer looks appatizing, nice hazy color. There’s not a lot of foam though. Special aroma and taste: some sweet floral aspects, but especially nutmeg. It gives the beer a surprizing touch, but after a whole glass it is a bit to much.

rikstar (2604) - NETHERLANDS - APR 26, 2014
0,33l fles, goudgeel met een bescheiden schuimkraag. Bijzonder drankje door de toegevoegde kruidnagel.

Aroma of malts, some fruits, herbs, especially nutmeg and clove. Flavour is malty sweetness and very herbal, not to my liking.
