Benzai (14780) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - SEP 13, 2012
33cl bottle @ home. Pitch black color, full sized very light brown head that leaves fair to good lacing. Smell malts, a lot of roasted malts and some smoke, some coffee, some ash. Taste malts, roasted malts, light to moderately smoke, lightly ash, lightly coffee, some bitter. A bit thin bodied imo, medium carbonation.

Bottle at Arends Nest. Black pour with bubbly off white head. Chocolate and coffee in aroma with a certain yeastiness. Flavor is initially chocolate the a strong coffee kick. A slight sour dryness spoils it overall.

2/VII/13 - 33cl bottle @ home - BB: VI/13, bottled: VI/12 (2013-603) Thanks to Erwin for sharing the bottle!

Clear dark brown to black beer, creamy irregular beige head, bit adhesive, pretty stable. Aroma: fruity, lots of forest fruits, jam, sourish, coffee. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: sour forest fruits, mocha, some caramel, pretty bitter. Aftertaste: little bitter, mocha and coffee, forest fruit jam, dark chocolate. And ow yeah, thanks. Another brewery that is gonna start using two words with an "and" in between. As if I didnt have enough trouble remembering all the De Molen names... Jack *ss*s! :p

Bedankt Kraddel. 33 cl. fles gedeeld. Zoete Portugese wijn, licht metaal, lichte geroosterde mout, wijn takken en wijn bladen, lichte mout onderaan, porto-achtige donker fruit, donker mout. Iets te licht, te veel gas. Apart maar komt niet helemaal te samen.

jmgreenuk (8512) - Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA - SEP 7, 2013
Bottle from ABC Beers, Den Haag. Poured a deep mahogany with a big frothy creamy tan head. The aroma is of roasted malt and liqourice. The flavour is strong bitter with a liqource, malt, coffee, chocolate and red-berry fruit palate. I kinda liked this. Im surprised the ratings are not higher.

downender (8270) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - JUN 30, 2012
Bottle from Bierkoning. Near black and opaque with an off-white head. Plain chocolate, dark fruit aroma with decent roastiness. Flavour of coffee, more chocolate, with a touch of sweetness on the tongue and a dry, toasty finish. Enjoyable.
