Heller blumiger Antrunk mit leichten Kräuternoten, die im Mittelteil verschwinden. Hopfiger und bitterer werdend, zum Ende eher herb als bitter. 10/9/9/10/8/9

Bottled, BB 19/02/15, large sample. Hazy golden color, short frothy slight off-white head. Aroma is grassy, grainy, wheat, hint of hay, bit spicy yeast, hint of coriander perhaps. Bit dry at first, soft bitterness, some residual sweetness. Fairly high on carbonation. Easy going blonde. In the end, when I’m used to the bitterness, it becomes a bit too sweet. So could be a bit more dry.

Colour: Bright orange gold with a firm white head. Nose: Citrus, orange, wheat toast, herbs, floral. Flavours: Bitter, ginger, bubblegum, roasted malts. Lemon zest, butterscotch. Finish: crisp & short, quite bitter. Verdict: Too much IPA, while it’s marketed as a fresh blonde/wheat summer beer. Shame.

Typical Belgian Blonde Ale. Fruits, yeast, spices and a bit of hop. Very drinkable.

Bottled at Pothuiske. Color is dark golden with a slightly off white head. Spicey nose. The aroma is spicy with full yeasts and malt. The flavor is yeasty with obvious presence of apricot and hops. Very yeasty finish.

(Keg at ’t Pothuiske, 20130604) The beer poured golden and a bit hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, citricness and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, grass, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was fruity and bitter. A nice hoppy blond.

Bottle at Wildeman. Hazy golden, lacing head. Herbal aroma, bitter-sweet flavours. Absolutely drinkable.

Thanks to bierkoning for that one. Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass golden, nice head. Starts strong, fine malty-wheaty, fine fruity notes. Finish more moldy, but still okay. Not bad!
