Cloudy, caramel-like beer, and it has a lightbrown firm layer of foam. Sweet aroma with the touch of caramelized banana. It tastes like licorice, which subtile moves on into a slightly bitter aftertaste. Troebel, caramelkleurig bier, met een lichtbruine stevige kraag. Zoet aroma met de toets van gekarameliseerde banaan. De smaak is dorpachtig wat subtiel overgaat in een lichtbittere nasmaak.

Bottled, batch 8952, bb 31-07-2014, large sample. Hazy orange to amber color, big frothy off-white head. Aroma of orange peel, bit sweet, bit spicy. Bit sweet in taste, some caramel malt. Quite full bodied instead of dry. Nothing special, but quite ok actually.

This is the kind of beer on a nice spring / summer day. The downside: its quite heavy in ABV for this purpose. Had it later in a drooling friday night and it tasted not as good. Its a refreshing beer. Nice, not overwhelming, bitter, some fruitiness and the cloudy look and flavor of a dark heffeweizen. Noted the ABV more on the drooling friday, so its one for those nice days to enjoy :)

Quite a dark colour for a Tripel. Aroma has caramelised orange. Flavour has bitter citrus peel and some spice in the finish.

Copper little misty body and off white head. Alcohol raisins, cereal, herbal yet citric notes. Not very professional. Light sour and only bit bitter in the end. Odd beer. (Tilburg Beer Festival)
