Limited Edition, Barrel Aged @ Gouda. Red brown and hazy. Aroma is full of candy, fruity sweetness. Flavour is similar with sweet jam and a sharp, fresh edge. Zlotta (3278) - Hagen / Düsseldorf, GERMANY - JAN 18, 2016
From bottle at Winterbierfestival Gouda 2016. Hazy, brown amber. Sweetish-malty, slightly sourish aroma of caramel, vinegar and wood. Sweetish-malty, sourish taste of caramel, vinegar and oak, followed by a short, tart finish. Thin to medium body, slightly astringent mouthfeel, flat. Not good. 77ships (9827) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - JAN 18, 2016
Thank you for sharing people! Sampled bottled @ “Gouda Winterbier Festival 2016”. Murky syrupy brown, with no head. Nose is weird moldy bitterness, slimy with big sugary sweet qualities. Taste is massively weird, herbal bitter, sludge, boozy, sugar, big candy, sugary,… Weird sludgy body. This is just weird, not sure what is happening here, excessive sugar & yeast in extreme amounts? Dunno, weird & not the good kind of weird. sjogro (4135) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - JAN 18, 2016
Bottle sampled at PINT Winterbier festival Gouda 2016. Cloudy caramel color. Oak wood, strawberry, hay. Light to medium sour / tartness. Quite an alcoholic punch. Sugary, syrupy texture. Borresteijn (7053) - Zaandam, NETHERLANDS - JAN 18, 2016
Bottle sample at PINT Winterbierfestival ’16. Murky orange-brown colour, no head. Aroma is sweet-sour, bit like babi pangang sauce, very fruity, alcohol, roosvicee, sugar. Flavour is very sweet, honey, lots of ripe fruits, strawberries, sweet raisins, alcoholic finish. Full bodied, thick and slimey mouthfeel. Far from good, but still tasty. Definitely a Barley Wine.

Bottle sampled at Winterbierfestival Gouda. Murky reddish brown with small off white head. Doesn’t look very good actually, more like fruit juice mixed with soap. Lots of fruit juice in the aroma, strawberry, raspberry, light dough and brown sugar. Over medium sweet with light sourness. Full bodied with pure fruit juice/pulpy feel. Decent stuff.

Bottle. How boring could a beer get, without becoming actually bad. This is a textbook expample of how that goal should be achieved. Very boring looks, very boring aroma, boring taste but overall has some decent drinkablity and no real downsides, beside being incredibly boring. That’s basicallt all I have to say about this beer.. hansvf (898) - - AUG 31, 2014
Troebel donker, weinig schuim. Maar we drinken m eigenlijk te koud op de camping. Ruikt Droppig.smaakt daar ook naar. Echt snoep bier. Vol in de mond, maar weinig carbo. Beetje waterige zoete nasmaak.
