MarcoDL (5412) - NETHERLANDS - MAR 11, 2014
Average and actually quite boring Belgian tripel. Fruity and yeasty, but a bit thin.

teddybeer (4168) - Madrid, SPAIN - NOV 30, 2012
Sample at the brewpub. Golden colour with a creamy white head. Aroms is fruity, yeasty and malty. Flavor is sweet, fruity and notes of yeasty and spicy. Carbonation and body are medium.

brokensail (16660) - Dublin, California, USA - OCT 8, 2012
Pours a pale golden color with a white head. Holy crap is this metallic. Tons of booze, green apple, and some hints of grape juice. Pretty terrible nose. Tastes like a glass of pennies. Awful metallic flavor, some alcohol, and a lot of green apple. A bit of white grape, some sugar, and mild malt notes.

77ships (11300) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - OCT 5, 2012
Draft sampled with ChinoSkillzian, t0rin0 and Womencantsail as part of the flight @ Brewpub. This one was the even less enjoyable than its brethren but the ratings ranking this one higher - comes to show something.... Pale golden with some white head. Sweet lemon juice, urinal cakes, candy and apple juice nose. Grains, metallic herbs, odd not really wanted ginger qualities, citrus, candy, apple juice with sugar. Lighter side of bodied to near medium - I have no idea what the other reviewers have been drinking but I do not feel like this is an average belgian beer quality-wise, I would not even dare to call this homebrew level because most homebrew I have tried has been pretty good made by people trying to put forward and succeeding in pretty good beers. Or am I spoiled?

sebletitje (10421) - Enghien, BELGIUM - JUN 26, 2012
Draft @ brewput.
Note fruitée abricot, un peu trop sucrée.
Paraît plus être dans l’amateurisme.

Draught at the brewpub.
Clear amber coloured with a small white head.
Fruity aroma of spices with notes of citrus and yeast.
Sweet and fruity flavour of spices with notes of metal and yeast.
Spicy finish.

Dogbrick (13961) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - DEC 4, 2011
On draught at Les Brasseurs in Brussels. The beer is a clear golden color with a medium thin white head that recedes steadily to a film. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of yeast, spice and banana. Light body for a Tripel with flavors of sweet malt and yeast, spice and fruit. The finish is sweet and fruity. Slightly above average overall.

Fra fat på brewpuben 7 Mai 11. Gylden. Lavt kremaktig skum. Litt anonym aroma. Lett syrlig fruktsmak. Litt anonym - men god. Søtlig ettersmak.

thewolf (12842) - Kolding, DENMARK - JUN 9, 2011
Tap @ De Brouwers - Les Brasseurs, Brussels.

Pours clear golden with a small, creamy, white head. Good duration. Aroma is sweet, light banana, apples, kinda weak. Highish carbonation, fat and light creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is sweet, malty, citrus, light apple. Too sweet, kinda boring, but it’s getting better...
