Backlog rating LCRBM/Bruxellensis trip 2006: Milky cloudy brown, golden head. Underattenuated. Bready banana notes, spicy berries. Medium body. Banana aftertaste. A dunkelweizen hybrid??? Kind of nice though.

MarcoDL (5415) - NETHERLANDS - MAR 11, 2014
Average Belgian amber beer. Has fruits and some caramelised malt. Same old.

andrepintado (3703) - Porto, PORTUGAL - APR 30, 2013

Ungstrup (38592) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - APR 11, 2013
Draft. An amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel as well as lighter notes of fruits. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and wet hay.

teddybeer (4172) - Madrid, SPAIN - NOV 30, 2012
Sample at the brewpub. Hazy orange colour with a small white head. Light caramel and malts in the aroma. Flavor haqs caramel hints, toasted malts and a slightly bitterness in the final. Carbonation and body are medium.

brokensail (16670) - Dublin, California, USA - OCT 8, 2012
Pours amber in color with an off-white head. A very buttery aroma with just about as much metal. Water, some bread sweetness, and a bit of sugar. Really quite bad. The flavor is just as buttery. Tons of metal, a mild malt sweetness, some water, and a bit of sugar. Barely drinkable.

Draft @ the Brewpub - split a 120 ml. with ChinoSkillzian, t0rin0 and Womencantsail with enough beer left to spill for the fallen homies - the flavors caught us by surprise and we couldn’t handle it. A amber beer made by a brewer whose name in English means Brewer at the Brewers of the Grand Market - to bad they got dizzy from their creativity before making this beer. It does look amber - which if I understand the RB rules qualities as a 5/5 for appearance because their name clearly indicates this should look amber - with something that could be a white head. Smells of grains, burned candy and cough syrup. Metallic, caramel, stark, herbs, sweet metallic cough syrup, pain, malt, toffee,... Light bodied - I like it less than the Blond one but the ratings just show how ignorant I am - too ignorant to fully appreciate this.

sebletitje (10421) - Enghien, BELGIUM - JUN 26, 2012
Draft @ brewput.

A - amber with frothy head

kramer (6908) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 9, 2011
On tap, at brewpub. Pours a clear light amber body with a small thinnish beige head. Smells rather thin with some light amber malts, light yeastiness and a touch of hops. The flavor is thin malt and very light floral hops. Fairly short finish. Thin and fizzy mouthfeel. Rather forgettable, and expensive (3.90) for what you get. Could have had an Orval for this! Didn’t bother to try any others.
