Tasted years ago from tap at the Brasseurs de la Grande Place in Brussels when they were still active; this was the best beer they had in my opinion, a hazy peach blonde, malt sweet, rather simple but soft, gentle and ’honest’ tripel with crisp hoppy finish. Clear golden with a medium white head. Aroma had fruity and yeasty notes. Flavour was sweet with coriander, yeast, fruit and hoppy notes. Finished dry. Bragesnak (5394) - Aarhus, DENMARK - MAR 8, 2009

hazy yellow, big frothy head, bright lemony aroma, light and sweet flavor with a bit of tartness, a touch of bitterness in the finish, mild for a triple
Aroma: 5/10; Appearance: 5/10; Flavor: 5/10; Palate: 5/10; Overall: 10/20
The score was calculated based upon the notes and an old scoring system.
This ber was better 4-5 years ago. It is now slightly grainy and a bit bitter but the fact that it can be enjoyed just off the Grand Place in Brussels makes it taste all the better.

Light hazy blonde with a thin white head. Pleasantly floral aroma, peaches, with good hops character and alcohol warmth. In mouth, nice malt with crisp hops, not overly sweet, with alcohol warmth, bananas, sour points. A bit oxidized as sample was poured from an opened bottle. May 2005. Jayb0 (1197) - Cherry Hill, New Jersey, USA - AUG 9, 2005
Vibrant gold with thick, foamy, white head reducing to pleasant, blotchy film. Mild and drinkable with light fruit and biscuit character. Very mild sourness. Soft palate. Pleasant. veronika (410) - SWEDEN - AUG 8, 2005

(Bottle sample at de Brouwers, Grand Place, Brussels) Hazy yellow/golden with a white head. Yeasty aroma with fruity notes from citrus, apples and peach. Bubblegum flavor, malty and yeasty, but also with bitter and citric notes. sayravai (4710) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JUL 29, 2005

Brouwers - Les Brasseurs) Slightly hazy pale golden with almot no head. Barley-wine aroma with minty hints. Slightly alcoholic, but quite enjoyable flavor with vinegar hints. Medium-bodied, slightly alcoholic, barley-wineous palate with low carbonation. The best one at De Brouwers - Les Brasseurs, maybe because it’s not brewed by them after all :).
