750 ml flaske delt på RBHD-treff på Fjøløy. Klar dyp rubinfarget kropp med rosa skum. Nydelig lukt av syrlig kirsebær og treverk. Frisk og myk på en gang med deilig kirsebærsmak.

Shared 750 ml green corked & caged bottle at local tasting. Deep red colour, pink head. Intense aroma of farmhouse, horse blanket and sour cherries, also almonds / marzipan. Moderate carbonation. Medium sour and tart flavour with notes of brettanomyces and sour cherries, hints of almonds.

2009 De Cam Kriek Lambiek paired with a bowl of cherries. Will this be cherry overkill? Let's find out! This lambic pours a deep mauve, kind of purple brown with a fuzzy pink head they vanished fast. The aroma is incredibly aceitic vinegar cherry with some acidity and barrel woodsiness. The taste is tart, oaky, nutty, cherry, vinegar, some sweetness and acidity with a dry finish. The fresh cherry sweetness, cuts through the vinegar by accentuates the acidic nature of the finish. I think I served it a tad too warm so I've got more chilling in the fridge or it may be at an odd moment in it's cella ring evolution. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

750ml bottle in garden, 5th June 16. Pours dark red, flat. Aroma is full on cherry, even from the open, berry fruit, cellar. Taste is rich tart cherry, berry, summer fruit, slight sour linger, also slight sweet, little to no carbonation, good stuff.

750ml bottle. Pours hazy cherry red with minimal head. The aroma is big cherries, acetic notes, leather, and barnyard. Big cherry flavor, pretty tasty with acetic notes, some sweetness and then a tart finish. Medium body, low carbonation, some biting acidity. Pretty solid.

Bottle sample at a tasting. Thanks Tom L. 2009 bottle. Hazy pink red color. Aroma is splendid, barnyard, cherries, berries, green apples, wood, plums. Sour, but restrained, flavors of oak, vanilla, cherries, dark fruits, tart apricots, funk. Medium-bodied, oily mouthfeel. Great.

At a tasting, many thanks, no head, murky dark plum like color, aroma of vinegar and leather with a fruity backbone, flavor is a melange of dark fruits with some funk. Quite mild and subdued but really enjoyable.
