4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
2005 Vintage - 375 ml. sampled @ Kulminator - hazy raspberry coloured, some white lacing - nose is going towards cherry more than kriek, tart but with a fruit sweet edge, nice sourness underneath - taste is good, going fruitier side rather than the more thinned and sour side, some softer fruits, light cellar, light vinegar, light wood - lovely very light syrup body - De Cam is good - this is good stuff - should revisit this one - wonder if aging upped this one a bit

Bottle shipped from Etre Gourmet.
A: Slushy red without a head. There was some creme foam but it bubbled out of the bottle and into the drain. Light lacing.
N: Huge cherry and funk. Tons of oak. Grapefruit rind and worthiness. Lemon zest. Lots of yeast and esters floating around. Attics and horse blanket. Hint of raspberry floating around. This seems like it has been laid down for years.
T: So bitingly tart but not sulfuric like some American sours. The cherries have a lot of pith and there isn't much sweetness to be found.
M: Light body, no alcohol, biting carbonation.
O: Tasty lambic with a big explosion. Could look a bit prettier for that reason but still... it is Belgian. beton (715) - Tarnobrzeg, POLAND - OCT 1, 2017

For me this is extremely and nothing more than extremely sour stuff!!! I couldnt drink it! It is same as you drink vinegar, I know this is a style, directly poured from the cask... but I made a Cuvee with this to make it a little bit sweeter. (as I remember with Lindemans Kriek or with Cherry natural juice from my village, I dont remember). Cherry aroma, sour, sour, sour aroma and taste, this was maybe the suicide souracide sour bomb for me ever! wlf (768) - DENMARK - JUN 27, 2017
Bottled 2009, tasted 24.6.17; beautiful red with a small to medium head; aroma is funky, fruity, lactic and cherry; taste is round, not too cherry dominated, medium sour, gentle funky, tiny hints of vinegar; texture is thin with low to medium carbonation; awesome bottle
