750 ml cork and caged. A gusher. Just went crazy. When settled, a lot of funk in nose and taste, dark purple color and a lot of berry. The closer to sediment, the better it gets.

January 2018 - Tasting in Hackney. Bottle shared with big thanks to Mr Tips. As 'De Cam Wilde Bosbessen'. Almost a purple colour, opaque with a foamy pink-purple head. Aroma is great – rich cherry and blackcurrant, blueberry, farty and dirty farmyard stuff. Smells pretty great. Body is tooth-coating, frothy with tingly carbonation. Not good here. Taste is again dirty farmyard and raspberry-blueberry and general mixed berries set against a thin sodawater background with a tart finish. Some excellent aspects as well as some that let it down. 18Jan2018 Intense farmyard, dry oak, blueberries, bitter berries, funk, wood, oak. Hazy, very dark red, massive, reddish head. Medium sour. Intense wood, funk, sour blueberries, acidic, lemon peel, soft carbonation, medium bodied. Intense aroma, crazy complexity, yet lacks some soft of smoothness and balance. Bottle shared at Leighton's - sourced from Independent Spirit, Bath.

Bodney Towers Bottleshare. Thanks to Tips. Cloudy purple brown beer, patchy purple head. Palate is light, dry and has modest fine minerally carbonation. Bitterish fruity bitter berries. Dry acidy berries. Light dry finish. Bitterish nuts on the aftertaste. Nowhere near the best sour I've had this evening.

Bottle shared in Hackney - thanks to Tipple. A slight gusher. Pours unclear purple with a small, creamy topping. The aroma has a bit of funk, tangy berries, blueberry, sweat. Light sweet flavour with assertive acidity, tons of tart berries, acetic burn, some woody dryness, grapes. Medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Quenching finish, more funky poo, tart berries, some salty sweat. Intense but pretty well rounded. Great stuff.

The taste is dry, bitter, tart, musty, funky, dirty, blueberry, blackberry, filthy, barnyard, bright acidity, sherbet and pithy and chalky tannin with a drying finish.
