Alengrin (5156) - BELGIUM - AUG 10, 2014
Commissioned beer (like everything from the Proef) named after a baron who once was a regent of Belgium. Cream white, irregular, dense, not too stable head, orangey copper colour with equally divided yeast particles. Strongly nutty aroma, bit smoky, some mango, banana, kiwi, rhum, grass, candi and sherry. Caramelly malt taste with dried fruits, very nutty in the middle, rounded and smooth, finishing in mild hop bitterness and a mild toastedness.
