Poors light caramel brown with big, frothy white head. Slightly oily and hazy ( by now, I've learned to leave a very generous yeast bottom in a dvdk bottle ). Aroma and taste gentle hoppy, noticable sweet malts, some grapefruit, yeasty, some faint spices, some butterscotch even. Light bitter, astringent aftertaste. I must admit I missed those wonderful summer meadows a bit but it's in any case very nice with surprisingly good complexity.

330ml bottle. Hazy amber beer, medium white head. Nose is citrus, apricot and malt, feels thick. Flavor is malts with hints of caramel plus apricot. Finish is slightly floral and malty, with a healthy helping of bitter oranges. Nicely balanced texture.

@ Modest Bier Festival. Aroma is fruity with orange peel, malty and hops. Taste is more orange, orange zest and nice yeast. Hoppy. Not very exciting. Palate is mild and a tad wry (zest?)

330mL bottle from International Beer Collector. BB September 2018 Pours a big white head atop a golden body. Nice aroma - zesty orange peel, grainy, peppery, fragrant floral undertones. Lively carbonation, oddly smooth palate for an otherwise dry beer. Has a really interesting sweet almost vanilla-like character upfront, leading the way for bitter orange rind notes amongst grainy, spicy, peppery flavours. Dry finish, plenty of bitterness. A surprising drop, in a good way!

Bottle, [email protected], Grobbendonk. Pours deep, light hazy copper with a fine, staying, frothy white head. Aroma has sweet malts, lots of fresh orange peel, doughy, citrus hops, light hay, mild thyme. Highish carbonation, fine dry and fairly light mouthfeel. Flavour has good malty sweetness, light dusty, zesty oranges, quite a bit of pepper. Fine hops bitterness. Fresh and quite drinkable.

0,33l bottle at home. BB 09/2018. golden clear shiny color, quite big yellowish / off-white head. smells grassy, earthy, yeasty, light caramel, flowery, light dill. nice smell overall. full body, bubbly but light carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes rather heavy, citrus, caramel, earthy, peppery, some flowers. finishes lightly to medium bitter with notes of citrus, caramel and earthy notes. nice one but also not overly special.
