Swaroga (2224) - Warszawa, - NOV 4, 2012
66cl bottle. Clear liquid with golden/orange color and medium snowy white head. Nose : tart with orange, orange zest. Apricot and lemonade. Sip : medium body with fluffy creamy texture. Low to medium carbonation. The taste is really interesting, quite different then any other IPA I tasted so far. It’s sweet with orange and tart, it develops a dry taste with aromas of orange seeds and orange bitter jelly. It’s surprisingly not that bitter as for this style but really satisfactory thanks to a well balanced taste and great body. Nice surprise.

More of an old-world style IPA, with a floral hop aroma and a medium-bitter, tart, slightly sour taste.

33cl bottle from AbeerVinum, Rimini, Italy. Pours intense gold, almost amber, with abundant white foam, fine. Aroma is resinous, some herbaceous and caramel. Body is dense and with moderate carbonation. Taste is mostly bitter, but with some good sweetness behind. Finish is long and bitter.

UPDATED: OCT 14, 2017 0,33l Bottle, Känguruh pub Vienna. Like it's sister (extase), it is a very unique beer. Intensive aroma, overwhelming hopy taste with bitter on top of it. Long lasting palate. Ill order it again and again

Bottle 330 ml / Le Grain d'Orge - Crissier (CH). Orangy-amber beer with a nice off-white and persistent head, fine crackling. Laces. Aromas of citrus, flowers-honey, yeast, lemon. The taste is very fruity of citrus and stay on floral and spicy notes. The bitterness is well present but without overflowing. Tasty beer, smooth and fresh.

Bottle. Dark golden color, white foam. Floral-citrus aroma, fruits. Taste: citrus with light acidity, strong hop bitterness, zest, fruity, unusual, but not bad.

Poors slightly hazy with big, dense white head leaving ample lacing. Aroma very inviting: lots of tropical fruits, oily, resin ( but not disturbing ). Taste less complex though: fine, fruity hops, mostly medium bitterness with a very "sandy", astringent, lingering aftertaste. As with more DVDK beers lots of loose, dark yeast present: bottom half of the bottle releasing more tropical fruits. Esthetically less pleasing but still very tasty, though the yeast kills the complexity of the aroma somewhat. Mouthfeel medium to thin, slightly oily. For me the taste could have been a bit fuller or richter but still a good IPA.

JaKeAFC (1291) - ITALY - AUG 22, 2017
33cl bottle at nuetnigenough, bruxelles, 6.50?. Amber color hazed, big bubbly head, persistent. Wow, extremely hopped, aggressive bitterness and violent alcolhol attack. Solid malts, light burned, some caramel, candy sugar, some dried orange peel as well as dried apricots and raisins. Dry hopped to the limit. Fluffy foamy texture. Taste is nice, full, tasty, syrupy and violently bitter. This is a strong one. Full body, strong carbonation. A massive belgian IPA nonetheless....

Draught at GBBF 2017, Olympia, London, Aug 2017 and at GBBF 2012 - Hazy orangey gold in colour. Medium white head. Fair lacing. Very fruity; grapefruit and orange citrus. Hoppy; good hop bitterness, piney hops. Malty; pale malts, caramel. Bitter citrus fruity hoppy throughout. Liked this. Decent IPA. (2017-08)

AssKicker (676) - Strasbourg, FRANCE - AUG 12, 2017
