Bottle (note: best before 1/2010) @ weekly tasting shared by Martinus. Thanks for making my DvdK "collection" more complete :). Hazy dark orange color, fizzy off-white head. Aroma is lightly malts, sweetish. Taste lightly malts, sourish, red berries and a touch of raspberry sour. Decent body and carbonation. Probably way past its prime but even now it’s quite nice.

Bottle @ benzai. Hazy amber to orange colour with a small white head. Smells blue cheese, sweetish. Tastes sweetish, cheese, cardboard. It’s quite old, so of coarse it’s a bit weird. Medium body, nice carbo.

Bottle, thanks to Martinus. Gusher! Amber color, cloudy. Citrus, vinegar and coreander in the aroma. Sour flavor. Vinegar, apple and citrus. Hint of caramel. Red fruit. Weird, infected brew.

Bottle generously shared by Martinus, with myself and Ronald the brewer. Gusher. Cloudy amber color, massive creamy head, solid lacing. Aroma of dusty, funky summer fruit. Taste is sour peaches tasty!

Slightly hazy golden colour, white head. Fruity aroma, citrus, funk, cherry, light smoke, ash, hint of yoghurt. Sour flavour, light sweet touch, very fruity. Tart finish, citric acid, lactic acid, malts.
Nice! Surprisingly enough for such an old bottle it isn’t even showing a lot of aged character. I quite liked opening this one.

A Mes rate. Bottle at ZBF.
A semi hazy orange brown colour with a decent off white head. Faint sourness, a lovely smoky hit and some good bitterness all round. Soft and fruity estery notes in the background. The infection is quite clear, full of funk and stuff that probably shouldn’t be there but I can’t help but like it. I think Tim hit the nail on the head, it’s like a Belgian Berlinner Weisse. In the words of the wonderful Bob Ross, it’s one of those “happy little accidents...”

Bottle at ZBF 2009, Sint-Niklaas, Belgium
Hazy orange body. Off-white creamy, rocky body (rocks of an old mountain massif - without ’sharp’ peaks). Head diminishes quite fastly. Soury (lactic acid), malty aroma with hints of smoke, wood and cherry. Smooth aroma, not overwhelming, but subtle, pleasant and enjoyable. Moderately sour, lightly sweet flavour. Quite white beer like (bit like Berliner Weisse due to the lactic acid). Pleasant, not very complex but nice indeed.

Bart (2937) - Brussels, BELGIUM - OCT 4, 2008
Special version for the summer. Darker hazy amber coloured beer with an average white head and light carbonation. Special herby and hoppy aroma. Full palate. Finish is specialy fruity, with some hoppy and light smokey parfume. Full fruity, nice hoppy and slightly better than the regular version
