Obtained in a trade with Martinus. Thx! Shared with Sebletitje & Antoine @ Delirium Hoppy Loft. 2009 Vintage – only one ever made I believe? Last bottle from the brewers personal stack – nice. Glad to try another DvdK brew as always. Pours very dark brown with tanned bubbly head. Nose is huge old fruits, slightly oxidized, clearly aged but in a very interesting way, thick malts, light spices,… Taste has vintage notes but in a very interesting & good way, sweet oxidation, sherry, slight touch of dust, thick wheat, sticky malts, strawberries, cherries, yeasty, hint almost brandy-like notes, light herbs, raisins, jam, light liquorish,.. Slightly syrupy, thick jammy malt/wheat hybrid feel to it,… Aged very well – great stuff. Bierkrug (2129) - - MAR 7, 2011
330 ml bottle in Germany. You need to pour this like a Hefe to get all of the yeasty parts in your glass. This is one of those desert beers. One that you try once and say that was neat but you don’t ask for a second one. Small off-white head atop murky (when poured correctly), dark red-brown body. Aroma is moderately sweet, caramel, banana, some Brandy/alcohol, raisin, light chocolate. Top class Aroma. Taste is moderately sweet, caramel, raisin/plum, some chocolate, light anise. Light alcohol/burn in finish. Medium-full body, some stickiness. Countbeer (6591) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - JUN 25, 2011
Medium tan head, disappears quick, on top of a deep dark light hazy ruby colored beer.
Smell toasted malts, caramel, light toffee, a hint of something sweet like brown sugars, spices and hops.
Taste is a full mix of roasted malts, liquorice, wood, caramel, toffee, vanilla, light (milk) chocolate, medium bitter, darker fruits, some sweets, nuts, oak, hops, herbs and a hint of grains.
Medium but long bitter aftertaste of malts, caramel, light liquorice and something like wood/vanilla.
Low carbo, soft mouthfeel, full body and a creamy texture. Great beer. omhper (25239) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - FEB 20, 2013
Bottled. Hazy coppercolour with small head. Aroma of marzipan and herbs. Sweetish with medium body and soft mouthfeel. Caramel and minty herbs. Low bitterness. Rich and mellow. Quite lovely! bb (9423) - Alamo, California, USA - APR 16, 2010
Bottle. Amber-brown beer with a light tan head. Cocoa and choclate aroma with rich malt and vanilla. Chocolate and light vanilla lingers with light yeast and a light herbal quality (mint/anise). Medium bodied. Chocolate and light mint linger with light vanilla

Enjoyed one of these in a windy field in the Provence region in France. What a brew, really loads of spices in the aroma, thick body, creamy texture, nice head. The brewery really paid attention to the details. Flavor is also well balanced. Spicy hops and sweet sugary and slightly roasted malts. Nice.

Bouteille 33cl, anno 2009, courtesy of and shared with 77ships @ Hoppy Loft.
Couleur cuivrée assez trouble, col beige fin.
2009 Bottle from belgiuminabox.
pours dark brown, small white head. Smell is coffee, earthy, chocate, roasted malts. Taste is very unique, smoky almost. Chocolate, bitter, rye, grains, very complex. Damn interesting and quite nice! maupie (1098) - Roosendaal, NETHERLANDS - DEC 14, 2009
After the beer was served in the glass there was found a lasting quantity not wall adhesive white foam collar which was fine and evenly of structure. The beer also contained no carbonic acid in the glass.
The beer has a thick brown color and a sweet taste. The after tast of the beer is hoppybitter with a fruity touch. This beer smells anise-like. bhensonb (15326) - Woodland, California, USA - MAY 3, 2010
Bottle provided by Marcus. Looks to be a 2009 release. Pours slightly hazy ruddy copper with a slight beige head. Aroma is very berry. Medium body with sharp, but creamy carbonation. Flavor is chocolate with some berry. Almost astringent. It seems sweet, with chocolate, but there’s bitter offsetting the sweet. It finishes bitter. Kind of like a bitter chocolate. With some berry. Really different. Really good.
