Number 1400 WooWhoo!! Popped the cap on this and had a small gusher. Lots of carbonation here I guess. Pouerd a deep chestnut brown with a thick khaki head. Took a while for the head to dissapate to a drinkable level. The head laced the sides during the whole drink. The nose is toffee sweet with dark fruits, malts, vanilla, brown sugar and caramel. Flavor is not overly sweet. Hints of vanilla, dark fruits and nuts with a nice alcohol warming and a small spice bite on the tounge. Mouthfeel is slick and finishes with the spice lingering around while warming my belly.

Hot und unwiderstehlich, zumindest fr Belgian Strong Beer Lovers und Beer Geeks. Komplex bis unter die Fukante. Pflaumiges Zartbitterwrzhopflakritzschwergewicht mit massiver Sourbitterness at the end. Schlank, weinig und beerenverliebt. Wie gesagt : HOT!!!! Die Optik ist Weltklasse. Toll haltbare Schumung mit ausgeprgten Amberbody der BW- Liga. Anschnallen, das ist keine Hhnerbrust 🤓. BSA mit Kick!!! 0,33, Bottle. FINEST BELGIAN BEER, ca.3-4. Empfehle die ungesudete Vernaschung 😋.

Deep purple-brown color with a medium beige head that settles slowly and leaves very fine lacing. Aroma of red wine vinegar and nutmeg. Flavor of port wine, vinuous and smooth but acidic, with a background of sourness and funk. Full-bodied and silky.

Bottle. BBE date May 2012; Drank Jan 2010 - Ruby Red in colour. Fruity; raisins, dark fruits. Spicy. Yeasty. Malty; sweet malts, caramel, toffee, hint of chocolate. Sweet spicy fruity malty with slight hoppy edge. Quite a sudden bitter fruity finish. (2010-01)

Bottle brought back from Bruges. Pours deep brown with a frothy cream head. Fairly mild malty aroma. The taste has fruity malts. Toffee, light spice, stewed fruits. Quite nice.

UPDATED: JAN 21, 2017 Bottled. December 2014. Pours murky chestnut brown, tan head. Aroma is lots of plum, fig, raisin, dark fruits, sweet sugar, cinnamon, chocolate, chestnut and spices, bit of clove. Really great nose, really sweet without having too much of an ester presence. Flavor is figs, plums, raisins, dark fruits and raisin galore, sweet sugar, Belgian ester a bit, maybe a touch of chocolate and chestnut, again, sweet without being overly so, and not much in the way of astringency in the finish. Excellent. One of the best Belgians Ive had in some time.
