andrepintado (3546) - Lisbon, PORTUGAL - MAR 3, 2015
33cl from cerveteca. Color is dark gold. Head is medium. Medium to high bitterness. Body is thin. Aroma is spicy, hoppy, grainy. Cereal is quite present. Tastes a bit like morning muesli.

Icedwarf (1723) - Etten-Leur, NETHERLANDS - FEB 15, 2015
Troebel lichtbruin bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is licht zoet, bitter hoppig en fruitig, ananas. Verder iets van graan.Smaak blijft niet erg lang hangen. Ondanks dat toch een geslaagd bier.

fkoolen (1287) - Maastricht, NETHERLANDS - FEB 9, 2015
Bottle at home. Big foamy head on top of a hazy dirty yellow ale, lots of sediment and debris (signature of the Dochter Van De Korenaar!?). Nice triple tones with yeasty spices, vanilla and banana and creamy, grainy and sweet malts. High carbonation, good body, oily mouthfeel. Good but no outstanding features.

33cl Bottle. Appearance: Slight hazy golden with long lasting white head. Light lacing. Aroma: Fruit(citrus+apricots) + grains) + herbs Taste: not that sweet. Grainy, cereals, nuts, straw, hay, caramel, grass. Bitter herbs. A hint of apricots. Some alcohol faintly thee in the background. Not The best brew but still Typical Dochtervan de Korenaar brew . Medium to full bodied, slightly below average carbonation with nice creamy mouthfeel.

gizmo_ber (190) - Steinwenden, GERMANY - DEC 20, 2014
Fruit nose, almosty like a cider. The hop floralness comes through late and lingers. For an 8.5% this is surprisingly smooth, not a lot of alcohol taste.

TET (3128) - Kaarina, FINLAND - DEC 12, 2014
A slightly brown, yelloow beer with a medium and white head. The nose has fruits, some earthy herbs and grain, hint of meat. Taste is fruiful, some oranges, nice sweetness, spices, and also some black peppers. Rich and grainy body in the back. Medium+ bodied, strong but smooth carbonation. Quite nice mix of fruits and grain.

Bottle. Slight hazy golden with long lasting white head. Vanilla ice cream, spices, caramel, touch of milk chocolate, cake, biscuits. Then gets more fruity with apricots and some lime. Herbal bitter finish. Medium to full bodied with great creamy feel. Wow, really nice.

jgb9348 (6392) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - NOV 14, 2014
Crisp golden and light copper coloured body, all with a thinnish and fast-dying tan head. Aroma of alcohol, apples, yeast, grain, hay, pears and a touch of light spice. Medium-bodied; Dense apple and grain mouthful with a good spice kick and some definite grassy and herbal flavours near the finish. Aftertaste shows more pungency with the yeast dominating and alcohol coming out along with the grassy and almost medicinal flavours. Overall, a decent beer, not superb, but showing complexity and depth, but some of those deep and long-lasting flavours are on the harsh and unrefined side...and that is with ~15months aging - fresh would be too rough around the edges, i’m sure. I sampled this 33 cL bottle purchased from Beer Mania in Bruxelles, Belgium on 19-August-2013 for €2,99 sampled at home in Washington on the other side of the pond on 14-November-2014. Best by date printed on bottle of June 2015. Purchased: August 2013 // Sampled: November 2014 // Best By: June 2015
