I really enjoyed to cereal aromas on this Belgian, oats, wheat, barley, cream, as well as a dose of floral yeast and a bright hop contribution. Smooth and able on the palate, with plenty of heft and bright alcohol presence.

Bottle, 33cL. 8.5%. Purchase ("La Cervoiserie", @Poitiers, FR). Home. A golden clear orange beer ; some yeast sediments ; medium white head ; short retention. Roast, caramel, alcohol. Light to medium sweet, warming atmosphere, light dry bitter. Medium body, thin texture, soft carbonation, dry sweet warming finish. Overall, ok.

Hazy. Bronze colour. Fairly large head. Aroma is pretty faint, but there's some citrus and grain. Taste is more pronounced: spice, sherry, and dark fruit.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a purple to amber with a medium to big white head and an aroma of dusty malts, roasted malts, rye, toffee, cloves, overripe fruits and wheat. The taste is medium sweet with a velvet mouthfeel and a medium body. Pretty good.

Bottle @ home. Ambrata carica, velata, schiuma bianco sporco ,fine persistente. Aroma intenso, lievito belga, frutta estiva, pesca, zucchero candito, pane appena sfornato, speziatura, zenzero luppolatura erbacea piuttosto intensa,. Dolce abboccato l’ingresso, maltato e zuccherino, pungente, come pepato/speziato, finale secco deciso, amaro. Non molto corposa, leggermente spigolosa. calda, alcolica. molto equilibrata, perfettamente armonica

beerplace (2040) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 18, 2017
330ml bottle bought in Brussels in 2013 and shared with wife. Pours an ugly murky dirty pale brown like a fresh apple juice with a weak white head. Aroma is very malty with some apple fruitiness. Taste is similar with very bready aftertaste with apple and cinnamon notes. Taste like an old Belgian beer, but very pleasant.

Off white head left a cover on a murky orange coloured body. Medium body. Very smooth with a slight tingle on the back. Fruity citrus, malt hints, peppery, bitter/sweet citrus, orange & a long spicy aft.
