Bottle at Cafe Rose Red, only one of 900 bottles, drowned by myself. 12th February 17. Pours amber, slight cloud. Aroma is brett, sour, yeast, some sweetness, fruit, barrel, wood. Taste is so complex, fresh, floral notes, perfume, bitterness, citrus fruit, barrel, mellow, wood, Brett, sour, wood, some floral sweetness. Bottle @ home. Giallo dorato velato schiuma bianca fine e persistente
aroma complesso, Brett, lievito belga, floreale , fiori di sambuco e gelsomino, fruttato da esteri del lievito (frutta estiva\pesca). Secca, acidula, decisamente amara. Sample at Örebro Öl & Whisky 2015. Funky and fruity smell with barnyard aromas. Similar taste. Nice and funky. Love the funk.

Paid $14.95 for a bottle at 7-11 Kittery, ME. Aroma is rather interesting, citrus rind, floral hops and weak barrel notes. The body of this brew is yeasty with a chewy texture providing, dusty wheat, straw and light fruit. Bottle 50cl. Amber with a white head. Strong wild yeast (brett) aroma, which I don’t like at all. This is a strange beer to drink. I know the basis beet, Belle Fleur. For some reason I overlooked the line "... Sour, sweet and bitter" and focused only at the "Barrel aged Belle Fleur...". I did expect a slight different taste, to be honest. The barrel aged influence didn’t add too much in this beer. I prefer the pure Belle Fleur. Maybe I need to get used to barrel aging in IPA’s, but for the time being this is not my kind of beer. I do taste though that it is well made, however my taste buds are a bit picky, apparently.
