Very nice traditional-style barleywine. Aroma is caramel malt yeast pumpernickel bread. Flavor is like nose, slightly sweet up front, with a bitter finish period great body and carbonation. Hardly any sign of alcohol. Excellent beer.

Strong aroma of... Feet?! After second try, it’s more about caramel and sugar (honey maybe). Foamy and trouble. Taste is the physical part of the the aroma, caramel and sugar. No taste of alcohol despite the 13%. Simple but heavy beer, hard to drink a glass

Arôme caramel, froment. Belle mousse et ambrée sombre. Malte, caramel.

Draft - Dark caramel, raisin and some dark fruit. Deep amber brown with a decent beige head. Sweet dark sugars, a little burnt with a long raisin and caramel finish.

Icedwarf (1616) - Etten-Leur, NETHERLANDS - MAR 4, 2017
Geweldig bier!

UPDATED: MAR 3, 2017 Wrong entry, was actually the Montalcino wine barrel aged version. Cannot delete this.
