COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Boskeun is the nickname of Jo, one of the two brothers who preferred to brew blond beer at home. It is a special Easter beer, one of the first real Belgian Easter beers. (Slaghmuylder's paasbier being first). It has been brewed with pale malt, Golding hops, cane sugar and refermented with native honey. As it is a seasonal beer we suggest not to keep it eternally. The name Boskeun means rabbit of the wood (virgin wood, maybe?) and the label shows it, sampling the last brew.

Golden yellow color, large white head. Aromas of citrus, yeast, bananas, honey and spices. Taste of honey, yeast, alcohol, sugar, bananas, citrus, gooseberries and elderflowers. Like a tart Westmalle Tripel. Interesting.

Ysok02 (1554) - Mons, BELGIUM - MAY 23, 2017

UPDATED: JUN 5, 2017 consumed a while ago - notes from phone: not a whole lot of aroma but a refreshing combo of some sour funk with standard Belgian skrong fare, a little one dimensional overall tho

Apperance is orange/golden. Some sediment. Aroma fruity, sweet. Honey. Taste has a nice balance between sweet, bitter and slightly acid. Very nice beer, somewhat between a triple and an abt.

Corpo pieno, mediamente carbonata.

ozzatoadisback (172) - ITALY - MAY 16, 2017
Very hazy light orange with maybe some visible sediment. Big and dense white head, excellent retention and lacing. Aroma is softly yeasty and sugary, with notes of honey, chamomile and yellow fruits (peach, pear). Taste is very sweet (sugar, honey, chamomile), nicely attenuated by the slightest tartness and by a hint of spiciness. Overall it still feels balanced enough. Alcohol is extremely well hidden. Medium to dense bodied with medium to high but somehow very soft carbonation (sugar?). Overall the beer feels pleasantly soft and delicate. Good stuff.

Typical tripel in style with a sweet finish. Lots of head. Metallic aroma slightly off-putting
