COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Boskeun is the nickname of Jo, one of the two brothers who preferred to brew blond beer at home. It is a special Easter beer, one of the first real Belgian Easter beers. (Slaghmuylder's paasbier being first). It has been brewed with pale malt, Golding hops, cane sugar and refermented with native honey. As it is a seasonal beer we suggest not to keep it eternally. The name Boskeun means rabbit of the wood (virgin wood, maybe?) and the label shows it, sampling the last brew.

kaserov (800) - Oviedo, SPAIN - APR 3, 2017
Carbonatación media tirando a alta. Textura oleosa.

Kruidig, licht zeepig. In balans.

bonkiedeaap (771) - Leerdam, NETHERLANDS - MAR 26, 2017
Bottle from Dranken Verheyen in Poppel, Belgium. The beer is hazy golden to amber colored and has a nice and stable white head, with good carbonation. The aroma is malty and fruity, with notes of citrus, peaches, yeast. candy sugar, honey and a lot of spices. The taste is light to medium sweet and full bodied, with notes of dried fruits, malts, caramel and honey and changes into a light sourness/bitterness with notes of yeast, pepper and spices and dryness of candy sugar. The finish is light dry and bitter with a hint of alcohol.

Bottle. Yellowy gold. Aggressively effervescent (lost half the bottle). Very yeasty (lots of floaties and sediment). Fruity and spicy (orange-citrus, peach, honey). Malty (buttery caramel, cane sugar). Flowery, spicy, peppery hops. Sweetish with a mildly bitter hoppy finish. (2008)

Cybion (188) - Kent, ENGLAND - JAN 6, 2017
Bottle, 330 ml. Pours moderately cloudy yellow/amber with a huge amount of lively, soapy white head. Lots of visible carbonation (medium bubbles) and some patchy lacing. About one finger of denser head retains. Spicy yeasty notes come through a the front on the nose with a bit of allspice, clove, candied banana and orange. Buttery with some light, fresh honey. Somewhat funky and lightly floral too. Taste is sweet and malty with a big hit of bread, darker honey, and warming spice, salted caramel developing afterwards and leading towards a dry finish with lingering light bitterness and floral notes. Very clean and fresh, avoids becoming sickly. Body is medium, texture is oily and carbonation is fairly mild. Nothing exceptional like the Stille Nacht or Mad Bitch but a fine brew.

alteregoo (1495) - Kalisz, POLAND - DEC 26, 2016
