COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Boskeun is the nickname of Jo, one of the two brothers who preferred to brew blond beer at home. It is a special Easter beer, one of the first real Belgian Easter beers. (Slaghmuylder's paasbier being first). It has been brewed with pale malt, Golding hops, cane sugar and refermented with native honey. As it is a seasonal beer we suggest not to keep it eternally. The name Boskeun means rabbit of the wood (virgin wood, maybe?) and the label shows it, sampling the last brew.

In bottle at home. Pours a dark golden colour with a thick, lasting white head. Aroma of honey, biscuity malt, hibiscus flowers and alcohol. Similar flavours and nicely bitter with heavy carbonation and a chewy mouth-feel. A bitter meady finish. Really interesting with a dry finish.

UPDATED: APR 14, 2017 Bottle, courtesy of SinH4, bottled probably 1994/1995. Pours almost clear light brown. Aroma is a bit of soy sauce, spicy, old prunes. Body is medium, fruity, but a bit sour and rather tart, intense. Incredibly balanced and harmonic. A little boozy on the palate. An experience not to miss!

From old tasting notes. Hazy deep honey gold color.large, thick beige head.intense fruity malt aroma. Wonderfully intense sweet malt flavor upfront. Obvious alcohol strength is present throughout. Cloying malty flavor lingers in each sip. Delicious honey flavor and light malt finish.

Pours dark yellow with a minimal, slight off-white head. The aroma contains orange, citrus, sugar, malt, honey and hops. It tastes medium to heavy sweet with light bitter and sour touches. Slick and oily texture, fizzy carbonation. Strong notes of fruit and alcohol alternately. Should be drunk with care.

Color dorado anaranjado, muy turbio, con capa de espuma blanca de dos dedos de grosor (no mucha retencin). Repleta de sedimento. Carbonatacin media tirando a alta. Textura oleosa.
