De Dulle Teve is brewed in the tradition of a Belgian Triple. Its high density stems from large amounts of pale malt increased with pale candi sugar in the brew kettle. Unfiltered, unpasteurized, bottle-conditioned.

De Dulle Teve keeps two to three years without major changes in taste. Further maturing, up to 10 years, will cause it to darken a little and lose some of its bitterness. The bittering of about 30 IBU is due to Goldings hops in the brew kettle.

Light yellow/orange pour with a thin head that holds a pineapple, grapefruit, acetone aroma. High carbonation, with a strong honey strawberry overtone in the body and the alcohol isn’t well hidden. The alcohol flavor and bitterness continue to increase as the body warms. Dry finish.

Yellow/brown. Cloudy. Lots of fruit in the aroma, prunes. Rich, complex taste. More prunes, slightly bitter. Quite sweet. Excellent and unique.

Fat @Mikkeller Viktoriagade. Dimmig gyllengul öl med ett större vitt skum. Klassisk "belgisk" doft med lätt kryddig jäst, hö och citrus. Bra balanserad.

erikaraeb (138) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAY 23, 2017
Yeasty aroma. Slightly sweet and bread-y to taste. Like a typical tripel if slightly sweeter.

gripweed57 (2305) - Hamilton Square, New Jersey, USA - MAY 20, 2017
330 ml bottle. Vintage July, 2011. Cloudy brown color topped by a small creamy beige head. Big yeasty sour malt nose. Notes of figs and Green apple. Tangy, syrupy, prune notes. Intense and acidic notes, think crusty bread, sour apple, unripe kiwi fruit and elderberries. Quite complex and flavorful.

Bottle at De Garre, Bruges. Pours hazy orange with a frothy, white head that leaves lacing and lasts throughout. The aroma contains apple, peach, hops, malt, yeast and sugar; fruity smell. It tastes medium fruity sweet and medium bitter. Fizzy carbonation, oily texture, long finish with some warming alcohol.
