De Dulle Teve is brewed in the tradition of a Belgian Triple. Its high density stems from large amounts of pale malt increased with pale candi sugar in the brew kettle. Unfiltered, unpasteurized, bottle-conditioned.

De Dulle Teve keeps two to three years without major changes in taste. Further maturing, up to 10 years, will cause it to darken a little and lose some of its bitterness. The bittering of about 30 IBU is due to Goldings hops in the brew kettle.

Barely chilled:Not a gusher. Dark golden. Careful pour still releases a big fat head. Aroma is grassy hops ,phenolic, with big waves of candi sugar and malt. Fizzy, medium to thick texture. Upfront flavors are metallic(at first-rust),peppery,lightly grassy, with big pale malt. Following are nice sweet bread, flavors and more peppery, clovey, yeast flavors. Complex finish of grassy hops, pale malt, and the yeast is a slight afterthought, though stands out in the rest of the beer. Sweet and dry. As usual great lacing and head retention from a De Dolle product. After finishing lingering candi sugar and gummy yeast. Never really a sign of alcohol even after approaching room temp. Could drink much of this though it will sneak up on you. Up there with the best, although I have a bias for this brewery.

Następnie do bukietu dołączają: odrobina toffi, słodkie jabłka i gruszki. Po ogrzaniu wychodzą akcenty płatków gryczanych, miodu gryczanego i wielokwiatowego. Nieprawdopodobna głębia poszczególnych składowych.
Smak: W smaku konkretnie słodkie. Dominujące nuty to: dojrzały banan, słodkie morele i brzoskwinie.

Bra balanserad.

Yeasty aroma. Slightly sweet and bread-y to taste. Like a typical tripel if slightly sweeter.

gripweed57 (2462) - Hamilton Square, New Jersey, USA - MAY 20, 2017
330 ml bottle. Vintage July, 2011. Cloudy brown color topped by a small creamy beige head. Big yeasty sour malt nose. Notes of figs and Green apple. Tangy, syrupy, prune notes. Intense and acidic notes, think crusty bread, sour apple, unripe kiwi fruit and elderberries. Quite complex and flavorful.

Bottle at De Garre, Bruges. Pours hazy orange with a frothy, white head that leaves lacing and lasts throughout. The aroma contains apple, peach, hops, malt, yeast and sugar; fruity smell. It tastes medium fruity sweet and medium bitter. Fizzy carbonation, oily texture, long finish with some warming alcohol.

gr_pa (702) - siemianowice, POLAND - MAY 12, 2017
Clear, golden, some particles in it, high carbonation and gigantic head. Aroma is avesome: lots of oranges, apples. cane sugar, caramel, spices, overall belgian notes. Medium to high bitterness, medium to light body, low bitterness. Fruity flavour, orange, spices, some sweetness. Warming alcohol.

PabloZab (1545) - Wroclaw, POLAND - APR 28, 2017
Tap (Mikkeller Bar, Copenhagen). Clear, golden colour with small white-grey head. Aroma is delicate, fruity, malty a little bit spicy related to belgian hops. Medium dry, fruity, malty in the taste. Light in feeling, drinkable, cannot feel the power the beer.
