2005 bottle. Pours am opaque orangish brown with big tan head. Aroma of sour apples and woody alcohol. Sour, fresh,earthy, apple. SO good.

UPDATED: NOV 18, 2017 Amberkleurig, off-white schuimkraag. Mooi zurig aroma. Vineus, houterig, zuurtje, zoetje, eik, rood fruit. Diepe volle smaak, lange afdronk. Zeer geslaagd bier.

Thanks to Vince_88. Rocznik 2013. W aromacie wszystko pięknie jak pod linijkę w stylu - czerwone wytrawne wino, dębina i lekka wanilia. Smak: czerwone wino, drewno po beczce, winogrona, figi, wanlia, kwaśne, lekko dzikie, cierpkie, ale delikatnie, alkohol - co?! to chyba nie ma alkoholu, klasa tak ukryć 13%! Teraz się wstydzę, że dałem 4.5 dla Chateau Artezana. Tu nie może być niżej.

A 330ml bottle, brewed in 2015 and bottled in April 2017. Poured into a Lost Abbey teku glass. It was a dark brownish red colour with a two finger tanned head that had pretty good retention and left some sparse lacing. Aromas were tart, sour, cherry, vinous, red wine, vinegar and oak with hints of almond/marzipan at times. Tastes sweet and sour, tart, vinous, red wine, cherry, fig, vinegar and oak. Dry, medium bodied with moderate to high carbonation. Overall, nice complexity, aroma and taste. Quite surprised that it’s supposed to be 13% ABV as you certainly don’t feel it while drinking.

Botella en Vivalabirra (Oviedo) cerveza bastante compleja, al menos para mi experiencia actual, olor ácido y afrutado, sabor afrutado y algo maltoso donde el toque ácido predomina pero no molesta, muy buena cerveza!

Bottle @McHendos (Zoltan Tasting). Pours brown/red, tan head. Nose is sour, cherry, fruit cake, slight balsamic. Taste is more of the same with the cherry up front, slightly sour quite fruity.

Brewed in 2009, so it was 8 years in my cellar. Pours deep brown, nearly black, with a small brownish head. Aroma has dried fruits, apricot and cherry. Taste has lots of sherry notes, dried fruits, lactic sourness and some balsamic vinegar. Finish is long lasting fruity-sourish with some cherry. Outstanding beer!!!

Bottle from online shop. Light brown color, white head. Sour taste with cherry, oak, earthy notes, ripe fruits, a bit of acidic notes, tannins, tart and sour apple. Sour finish with cherry, oak, tannins, ripe fruits, tart, sour apple and earthy notes. Exquisite sour ale.

Piana bardzo obfita, średnio oczkowa, średnio trwała. Barwa czerwona, opalizująca. Aromat intensywny, przyjemny, głównie czerwone wino, porzeczki, wiśnie, suszone owoce, stara beczka, drewno, wanilia... W smaku sporo rodzynkowo figowej słodyczy, melasa, daktyle, do tego kwaskowe nuty winne, czerwone owoce, lekka mineralność, ziemistość, cierpkość, na finiszu dębina, wanilia, zioła i przyprawy... Nieduża migdałowa goryczka, lekkie rozgrzewanie od procentów, średnie wysycenie, przyjemnie oleiste i lepkie w odbiorze.
Klasa piwo! Połączenie nut słodkich, quadruplowych z nutami kwaśnymi, winnymi i barrel agingiem dało niezwykle złożony, zniuansowany i wielowymiarowy trunek, którego kolejne elementy pojawiają się w miarę ogrzewania całości w szkle... Dla mnie coś pomiędzy Aardnon / Earthnun a Caractère Rouge. Pozostaje tylko pić i podziwiać klasę piwowara.

0.33 l bottle from ’Belgiuminabox.com’, brewed in 2013, bottled in April 2015, cellared for almost two years. Slightly hazy, very dark red with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, off-white head. Slightly sweetish, sourish, quite fruity and vinous aroma of balsamic vinegar, red grapes, oak, sour cherries, almond and some caramel. Slightly sweetish, quite sour, a little funky, quite vinous and rather fruity taste of caramel, oak, balsamic vinegar, cherries, red grapes and redcurrant, followed by a medium long, rather tart, woody-dry and vinous finish. Medium body, slightly astringent and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very complex, intense and at the same time extremely refreshing. Fortunately, the vinegar aroma is less retronasal, could otherwise have been too much. No alcohol whatsoever detectable, highly enjoyable!
