4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Beautiful dark orange pour with a with thin creamy head. Yeasty ester aroma with citrus fruit and spice present as well. Complex flavor of apricots and honey and coriander and cake. A strong bitterness is very present in the flavor of this beer but it is a thick malty bitter quality. Full bodied and very sweet, this one will draw flies like nothing else. Overall this is a beer with an amazingly complex and delicious flavor that is somewhat compromised by its cloying sweetness. If age takes away some of the syrup similarities in this beer I could definetly see rating it a solid 5.
Golden colored, bit unclear, medium+ white frothy head, long lasting. Aroma is of malt, caramel and brewing sugar, spices, spicy yeast, some funkier notes, bit vinous, fruity, bit lemony. Taste is medium+ sweet malt, caramel, bit brewing sugar, some spice, spicy yeasty, bit vinous, fruity, some lemony notes, medium spicy bitterness, dryish finish, some alcohol. Medium to full bodied, average carbonation, oily.

Thanks to Vince_88. Dobre piwo. nathanvc (712) - Brugge, BELGIUM - OCT 19, 2017
At Café Botteltje, Ostend. Pours hazy golden/orange with a lasting, diminishing, frothy, off-white head. The aroma contains caramel, (white) sugar, apple, orange, honey, spices (ginger) & hops, vanilla, alcohol. It tastes medium to heavy fruity & sugary sweet, light to medium spicy bitter and very light sour, with a sweet and alcoholic finish (warming, not wry). Full body, oily texture, lively carbonation. Very fruity, boozy, complex; an explosion of taste. davidf93 (177) - Stellenbosch, SOUTH AFRICA - SEP 16, 2017
Hazy amber orange colour, good head retention, silky white head. Some citrus peel and spicyness. Alcohol nicely hidden. jjunghun2 (21) - - AUG 8, 2017

Orange colour. Low carbonation. Ester, spicy, candy sweet. No booze at its high abv. Nice beer to warm yourself.

From old tasting notes. Garnet colored brew with just a trace of a white head. Intense apple-like fruity aroma. Rich cider-like malt flavor is sweet and sour with a hint of hop flavor in the finish. Caramel and honey underlie the uniqueness of this Christmas brew. rob19a (467) - - JUL 31, 2017
7/20 really odd stewy beer, very strong, big apple taste, cidery, not my favourite taste but a complex beer

330 mL bottle shared with ebone1988. Vintage 2015. This bottle came from Jorrit. Thanks man. The pour is a darker golden orange color with a huge pillowy, frothy white head and a couple spots of lace as it falls to a thicker ring and film. The aroma is yeasty and malty up front with a bready spice and a hint of some darker fruits. There is a grain and a little bit of alcohol present. It’s surprisingly simple. The alcohol comes through. The spiciness and a light yeasty malt really control it. There is a sharper fruitiness to it and a heavy dryness. It’s interesting. The mouth feel is lighter bodied with a soft carbonation and a lingeringly sweet and yeasty malt with a slight alcohol. This is an interesting brew. 6 4 7 4 13 ebone1988 (2124) - Dearborn, Michigan, USA - JUL 23, 2017
Bottle shared with koleminer20, for the book. 2015 Vintage. Aroma is ester, slight sour, fruity, spice, champagne, dry, slightly hoppy, earthy, good. Appearance is darker amber golden, light tan head, hazy. Taste is ester, sweet bread, earthy hops, champagne, woody, spices, pretty good. Mouthfeel is medium body, light carbonation, estery wine-like dry aftertaste. Overall, I expected a little more but it’s pretty nice. Maarten1993 (1355) - Nijmegen, NETHERLANDS - JUL 6, 2017
Drank a 2014 bottle 06-07-2017 while writing. Very good! Blond beer, fading foam. Taste feels like a very rich combination between sweet and sour.. can’t really describe it in another way. Nice one.
