Bottle. Pours a hazed amber with a thin white head. Soft musk and wood on the nose. Medium bodied, gentle acid and wood, tart and tangy. Long acid. Beautiful and bright.

750ml bottle. Hazy golden orange with a large, lasting white head. The aroma is very herbal, barnyard, lemon/lime. The flavor is nice, surprisingly moreish as them Brits would say. Medium-tart, little herbal, limey. Medium body with a lively feel. Really nice!

Toronado, Seattle. Soft head, oaky brown orange, mostly clear. Lovely soft fruit nose with apple and tart green grape. Let’s gut, refreshing, lightly waxy sour sip. Great taste, lightly sweet green apple and apricot. Delicious and understated complexity. Delicious.

Tap @ De Garde, Tillamook. Light hazy golden pour with a small head. Notes of stone fruit, some light banana, light spice and some funk.

Poured from a 750 ml bottle. Aroma is fruit forward with some nice citrus notes and hints of pineapple, passion fruit and guava. Light phenolic spice notes with a light oak note as well. Pours a fairly clear, bright, golden orange with a medium sized, medium thick, frothy, white head that exhibits alright retention as it recedes somewhat quickly to the edges where it lingers for a bit. No lacing or legs. Flavor is moderately acidic with a light sharpness to it. A bit of sweetness and grain notes. Moderate fruit notes with citrus being most prevalent, but also some tropical fruit. Light phenolic notes and hints of oak. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with medium high carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, its an alright beer but the acidity is a bit strong and sharp for me. The fruit notes are nice and while strong, are not crazy dominant. The spice adds some nice phenolic notes to balance the fruit and acidity.

Tasting at SF, cork
Cloudy golden color. The aroma is dominated by the spices, maybe fennel, nettle, mint, asian nuts; a lot going on, nothing you really want in beer. The acidity is pleasant, the mouthfeel is smooth, the flavor is a bit lemony, but bordering soap.
Such a messy beer….

Hazy gold with a nice frothy cover. Bouquet delivers breezes of barnyard, wheat, hay, and funky vinegar malt to the nose. The body is decidedly tart and well developed, with the follow-through of hay, barnyard, vinegar, aged malt, and more. Rounded out by an easy sweetness on the palate, that perhaps is fruit-derived. Complex and drinkable. A wonderful Autumn refreshment.

Capped 750 shared by Marcus. Pours copper with little head. Aroma is fruity with very mild sour. Med body at least. Flavor suggests tart citrus with some pale stone fruit. A touch of oak astringency. A possible bit of pedio or lacto in the finish. Very pleasant and pleasing.
