(750ml bottle) absolutely beautiful super cloudy, pulpy deep violet color with clearish pink bubbles. Nose of intense sugared berries, wood, bugs, and mint. Taste of intense berries, medium tartness, wood, complex bug profile, fresh mint, berry greens, very carbonated and intense tart berry finish.

Bottle at home with friends. Pour is brigjt purple-magenta with a big pink-colored head and sticky lacing. Tangy, grapey, raspberries, blueberries, some oak, lightly funky, and floral aroma. Taste is grapey, blueberry, lemons - Super jammy - tannins, and raspberries with a big sour finish. Full mouthfeel with crisp carbonation. Really tasty shit.

750 mL bottle. Deep purple. Strong acidic aroma. Intense berry. Almost like currant and red wine. Tastes strongly of berries. Lightly green and vegetal, but doesn’t spoil it. Sweet dark fruits and strong sourness. Oaky finish. Almost gets too intense in the back end. The back end is the only part that really screams De Garde yeast.

Bottle in a De Garde glass. Pours deep purple with a pinkish head. Aroma of berries, light sourness, some light malts, and hints of oak. Flavor the same with a great blend of the berries and not too sour. Average carbonation. A very nice beer.

Poured from a bottle. Aroma is fairly boysenberry forward with a nice jammy character. Light phenolic and berry skins. Light oak notes. hints of tropical fruit and citrus. Pours dark purple with a large, frothy, pinkish purple head that slowly recedes. Light lacing and no legs. Flavor is moderately acidic with a ton of boysenberry flavor. Very jammy with a light sweetness and moderate acidity. Hints of citrus and tropical fruit. A hint of oak. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium high carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a classic de Garde beer with a ton of jammy berry notes. Nice complimentary yeast profile with a bit of oak.

750 ml bottle to base-fluted de Garde geuze glass. Looks good; a very hazy dark cherry with fizzy light cranberry head. Smells good too; loads of tart boysenberries alongside notes of funk and oak. Tastes like it smells, but sweeter. Still good, but less sour and funky. Mouthfeel is medium-bodied and pleasantly smooth for the style. Tasty stuff.

dark ruby, large bubbled puffy pink cream head. None of the imperial Berry bu nose off-notes, no but wamer asian spice / clove from the berry seed and heavy co2 mineral bitterness. Very similar front palate to Berry bu, brighter citrus with more sweetness, fuller body and sugar noticeable before acids come late with chest burn, murkier and less expressive fruit, Co2 bringing some bitterness in the lower-acid finish, body so thin though that acid still bites.

Pour is dark purple with a darker pink head. Nose is assertive dark berry, moderately sweet, different spiced note, faint oak. Flavor has more spice to it, strong berry jam, sweet, spice contrasts the fruit and doesn’t fit. Lower acidity, really syrupy full body, bitter in the finish.

Fruit punch purple pour with huge purple head that dissipates to a thing ring. Nice berry filled nose. Fresh ripe boysenberries and berry juice concentrate. Quiet yeast and lemon juice. Simple fresh aromas. Fluffy carb and nice rich thick body. Nice balanced palate. Great combo of tart, fruity, and sweet. Taste is all berries all day. Oh yeah baby. Palate has some nice yeast, light funk and lemon juice. This is like a fresh made boysenberry soda, fresh and sweet with all the fruity bits floating around in it (metaphorically that is). This is just a damn good fruit sour.
