(750ml bottle) clear medium orange, fine white bubbles. Nose of juicy citrus fruit, spirits, oak, funky bugs, sour, touch of sweatiness. Taste is more alcoholic than most de garde, a little cheesy, rye, oak, juicy citrus, orange juice, lactic acid, delicious and complex.

750mL shared haphazardly on a beer bus tour. Thank you brainlair for this one! Low haze deep golden color. Maintains a persistent layer of white foam. Beautiful tangelo nose and taste. Vanilla flavor, medium to dialed back acid, not too acetic, bright sour plum. It has almost a dry-hopped sour nose with squashy, tropical melon character and then more tangerine and vanilla. Palate is soft, highly carbonated, salty, leathery, with excellent acid blends similar to the best lambics. This one was really good. One of the best I’ve had from DG. area,

Bottle, thanks for sharing! Pours a near clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a funky tart fruit note with a bit of a dryness and some light grains underlying. Flavor has the barrels come through more and support the funky tart fruits.

Thanks to Matt for this wonderful brew!

Bottle @ Steasy’s. Thanks for sharing! Gold pour with a small white head. White wine. Grape jellies. Some lemon peel. Driftwood funkiness. Flavor is similar. Nice wild woody character. Some clean lemon meat. Spritzy body. Nice.

750, capped. Thanks, J&A! Wow, what an awesome treat. Pours a cloudy medium gold with a dense and creamy white head that sticks around for a while. Big beautiful balanced nose, showing a nice blend of soft lemon, some oak, some balsamic, hay, and grass. Creamy medium body, soft carb. Never shows a trace of the alcohol. Lemons, vinegar, oak, hay, and grass on the mid palate, with a sharp tart finish.
