From last night's tasting. Bottle thanks to Steve. Purple flat pour. Big berry aroma, some of the sour funk. Taste is more jelly jar berries, sweet and tart at the same time. Nice pucker at the end.

750 ml bottle. Bright pinkish purple color. Clouded through. Puffy but fizzy pink head. Big berry flavor, recognizably marionberry. It smells like berry juice with a touch of lacto, neutral oak and light funk, a touch poopy. Tart but not painfully so. Light body with some slickness. Oak is pretty mild but comes around in the finish. Fair bit of acidity, a little too much for my taste. Still, the fruit flavor is great.

Bottle shared by Douglas. Thanks! A: Purple in color with a pink head. N: Marionberry, grapefruit, lemon zest, bandaid, cracker, and sweet-tarts. T: Tart...and that’s about it. M: Light body, sharp carbonation, no alcohol. O: Decent, I guess. It’s pretty much the same as everything else they’ve made, unfortunately.

Bomber from the brewery. Pours a bright purple color with a medium white head. A big bursting berry nose, some oak. Vinous, sharp sour and super sweet berries, oak, tannins. Very sour at times, but the overall flavor is super cleat naturally sweet berries. Awesome.

750mL bottle at a tasting. Low haze strawberry color with light pink foam. Super funky nose with green plant/aloe juice, juicy berries, blackberry cobbler. Really opens up nicely. Taste is high carbonation in front palate, high prickly acid bite, salty. But too sour for me with a hot, slightly acetic backend. Too biting and aggressive to really sit back and enjoy.

750 ml bottle to snifter (thanks Ferris). Looks good; a cloudy dark raspberry with ample fluffy off-white head that las a light pink hue to it. Smells good too; a nice balance of funk, blackberry, and oak. Tastes like it smells with a pleasantly tart and lactic medium-bodied mouthfeel. The blackberry presence is awesome on the tongue and bounces wonderfully off the well-balanced acidity. Delicious!

Pours a deep reddish purple with a thin pink head. Aroma of berries, oak and vinous notes. Taste is sour, acidic, with berries and oak. Not bad but very sour, hard to drink a lot.

750, capped. Pours a dark, dark purple burgundy with a loose fizzy head that fades. Balanced fruity/berry notes on the nose. Creamy medium body, lively carb, seems a little pulpy but that doesn’t really come through until the dregs (which ya might as well drink, ya dog). Beautifully suspended berry flavor, hovering right between tart and sweet, right between dry and acidic, holding a perfect balance. Long coating berry juice finish. Elegantly modulated fruit character.
