4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
750 ml bottle. Thanks Aaron! Pours hazy orange-pinkish with small lacing on tap. Nose has strawberries and even more strawberries with a light funk. Taste has as other mentioned before some light off flavour. The strawberry feels a tad artificial and some light plastic notes. Lowers the score a bit but still a fantastic sour.
Poured from a 750 ml bottle.
Aroma is scary. Lots of acidity, plastic phenolic notes and nail polish remover. Lots of nail polisher remover. It burns your nose. Very hard to pick up anything else, but I guess there is a light strawberry note.
Pours a fairly murky, golden=brown with a touch of a pink hue and a medium sized, moderately thick, white head that recedes quickly to the edges where it lingers for a bit. No lacing or legs.
Flavor is better, or my threshold for nail polish remover is very high. Fairly high acidity with a lot of lactic acid and yogurt and citrus notes. Hints of strawberry and oak. Only light plastic and nail polish remover notes. I’m amazed how much better this tastes than how it smells.
Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth.
Overall, this may have been the worst smelling beer of all time and the color is ugly, but the flavor isn’t nearly as bad. I’m shocked I was willing to get past the aroma and appearance to try it, but am happy I took the plunge. That being said, flavor still isn’t great with a lot of acidity and almost no strawberry. Wow this one was rough, poured a murky orange with a white head. Aroma was straight poopy diapers, manure and pladtic. Flavor similar, light hint of strawberry, very offensive. Art (3220) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 7, 2015
Last place in blind strawberry sour tasting.
Pours a medium clearish orange with a slight white foam. Aromas of plastic and herbs. Very faint berry behind the burnt hair and plastic. Taste is like chemicals. Bad stuff. Difficult to finish. JBPortland (1564) - Hampton Roads, Virginia, USA - JUL 4, 2015
750ml bottle pours light orange with a slight pink tint and small finger of head. Nose is big juicy sweet Smuckers strawberry jam, some acidity, light funk. The nose was great. Taste starts out with medium high crisp acidity, initially some sweet jammy strawberry but transitions to a weird plastic and funk on the back end. Finishes sweet and acidic, there is some nice jammy strawberry but in the end the weird new plastic notes were a bit too strong to fully enjoy this. jtclockwork (17264) - , New Jersey, USA - DEC 18, 2014
Bottle. Pours gold white head. Nose/taste of old strawberry, dirty earth, sour fruit and oak. Medium body.

Bottle. Ruby pour with bubbles. Strawberry and tart berry aromas, very sour tones. Sweet and while tart strawberry and Berliner tones. b3shine (9143) - Indiana, USA - NOV 13, 2014
750 ml bottle to stemmed taster (shared by Dogbones). Looks good; a very cloudy apricot with eggshell head that steadily dissipates into lacing. Smells and tastes of strawberries and funk with a medium-bodied mouthfeel. More strawberry on the nose though. Good, not great. MrChopin (4305) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - SEP 28, 2014

Hazy grapefruit flesh, tepid after a thin white ring. Strawberry nose is more sweet than seed, dusty manure bordering on meaty currant dominates, heavy green burnt plastic overpowers and mutes the experience. Flavor is less expressive, heavy citric sweetness, low strawberry, light meatiness. Burnt notes emerge mid in the waxy body, plastic finish with light currant sourness. Full body is too heavy for flawed profile, comes off forced and offensive.

Pour is dark hazed deep amber with a tight white head. Nose has a strong burnt plastic phenol, strawberry cream underneath that off aroma. Taste has the same off flavor, manure, burnt hair, strawberry cream, dusty hay. Body is lighter, soft feel, nice carb. kbudd19 (1022) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - SEP 13, 2014
Bottle from Doug, thanks man! Cloudy yellow pour with minimal white head. Aroma is oak, sour funk and a bit of strawberry, something off. Woa that is infected, nail polish, it burns, so horrible, rubber. Drain pour.
