Poured from a 750 ml bottle. It is a sad day as this is my last unrated Bu that I had in my cellar and now I will need to trade for new Bu’s.
Aroma is rather wine forward with quite a bit of grape character and some light oak notes. Moderate tannins with light citrus and tropical fruit notes. Grape notes have a very fruity character to them with a bit of a fruit punch note. Acidity is not super noticeable in the aroma.
Pours a slightly hazy, bright, copper red with some orange hues and a medium sized, thin, white head that recedes almost immediately. No lacing or legs.
Flavor is moderately acidic with a light sharpness to it and a bit of citrus. Light oak and wheat notes with medium light tannin notes. Light tropical fruit notes. Moderate grape notes, but they are not nearly as fruity as in the aroma. Instead they are more tannic, with a fresh red grape character to them.
Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with medium high carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth.
Overall, a nice Bu, but not the best Bu. I like the grape notes and the acidity isn’t too sharp. An interesting fruit character. bottleforager (3208) - Gray, Maine, USA - JAN 4, 2016
Bottle shared thanks to JBPortland ! Pours a rosey red color with a finger of gaseous bubbles. Nose is earthy grape must, some wet oak, tart fruit. Palate follows the nose with fruited seltzer flavor that is amped up by some tart funk and lingering earthy must. Interesting and easy to drink but not as interesting as some other De Garde brews. pintbypint (3831) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JUL 12, 2015
RBAG 2015. Sampled from a 750ml brown bottle. Seems to have a pinkish tint, no head. Tart notes in the aroma, some wine. Taste is tart and dry with a little bit of wine character. Light and nice. DuffMan (10665) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - JUL 11, 2015
Bottle, shared at RBAG 2015 by Kevin. Very hazy medium orange. Big vinous character, lighty sour, woody undertones. Another fantastic De Garde brew. Ferris (16499) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 11, 2015
Bottle - Sweet light red berry notes. Pale pinkish with no head. Light acid, light Berry fruit. Mellow for them, not bad.

Bottle. Appearance is pink with light white head. Aroma is cheese funk, grapes, oak, and yogurt. Taste is light grapes, cheese, oak and mild funk. Overall, this is very quenching stuff, not a ton of fruit character but I’ve had this for a while so that’s probaly on me. DedicatedToFun (4003) - Santa Monica, California, USA - OCT 23, 2014
Thanks GT, orange pour, white head, nose is strawberry, taste is strawberry, lemon deekyn (1459) - San Francisco, California, USA - OCT 7, 2014
A - pours a nice watermelon cherry cider red with absolutely zero head. S - jammy grape juice leads the nose. Grape jelly and white grape juice come to mind. Mouldering strawberries and quite lactic yogurt. Musty barrel type notes. Nose has some sweet white zin. M - some spritzy carb and a medium body. Light lactic tartness lead to a malty middle and drying end. T - the jammy grape juice nose give way to a more subtle taste. Characteristics of merlot; graphite black cherries, raspberry and plum show first. Some notes of the Tempranillo show through; leather, cherry and red bell peppers. The palate shows the malty jammy fruity grape character. End is the dryer tobacco, leather and black cherry followed by overripe strawberry and yogurt. O - better than the merlot version. I really like a good wine sour GT (10017) - San Diego, California, USA - OCT 6, 2014

>> Pours a cloudy pink orange with a white ring of foam. Nose is hibiscus, gamey strawberry, white strawberry, creamsickle, major Gin barrel. Taste is insanely sour, holy moly. Straight lemon juice, detergent, leafy, plant. Hot tamaleeeee.
Bottle @ GT’s Cat Cabana. Thanks, GT. Ruby red pour with a white head. Some definite sediment in the bottle as evidenced by later pours. Nose of berry and cherry. Lots of red grape and spicy oak. Slightly sugary, but a decent amount of citric acidity. Flavor has a lot of lemon, berry, and red grape. A bit of jam and sweet red wine. Slightly spicy, almost woody character to it. Maybe a bit of seltzer.
