GlasgowTAD (1768) - Glasgow, SCOTLAND - JUN 19, 2016

GT (10000) - San Diego, California, USA - JUN 12, 2016
750mL at home thanks to brainlair/DG Keepers. Hazed deep red color with pink soda foam. Nose has that all but too common now green plant and aloe juice character. Doesn’t really open up past that. Taste is light cherry up front, huge lemon/citric acid, medium lactic acid, just too much acid and not much cherry. Some sugar or reblending in with fresh or unsour cherry beer would do this some good. Just two errors that are becoming omnipresent with De Garde.

after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - MAR 21, 2016
750, capped. Pours a cloudy dark crimson with bright ruby edges. Loose pinkish head that fades. Bright sweet snack cherry nose, they say they’re Montmorencies, and who am I to disagree? Creamy medium oily body with soft carb. Snack cherry mid palate. Not quite Hostess Fruit Pie sweet, but sweet. Definitely not on the tart pie cherry side, but there’s some sweet balsamic there to bring up the balance. Long sweet finish.

brokensail (16436) - Dublin, California, USA - MAR 3, 2016
Bottle @ RateBeer Best 2016. Milky red beer with a sort of pink head. Wasn’t the hugest fan of this. I get a fair amount of green apple, household cleaner, and cherry. Fairly sour and sort of acetic. A bit of fruity/cherry sweetness at least. Maybe just a touch of spiced pie filling. Eh.

3.8
phaleslu (10100) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - FEB 28, 2016
Pour from a bottle at RB Best. Pours a cloudy red wine color with a lasting off-white head. Notes of cherries, grapes, oak, yogurt, earth, and florals. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a dry, tart, floral mouthfeel. Nice sour cherry red.
