2015 bottle pours bright hazy golden yellow. Aroma of peach and a little stinky feet/cheese. Very sour and acidic for a Berliner - only mellow in body - but after two years the peach still shines.

750 ml bottle to snifter (shared with the Mrs.). Looks solid; undercarbonated though. A very cloudy golden apricot with virtually no carbonation. Smells and tastes mildly tart, with notrs of oak, peach, and barnyard funk. Mouthfeel is medium-light to medium-bodied and semi-dry wuth a touch of fuzziness from the peach. Good, not great. Would be significantly better with proper carbonation.

Bottle shared with Gus. Aroma is peach bomb, tart, sour, wheat, just straight up fresh peaches, amazing. Appearance is hazy, golden orange, white head. Taste is peach juice, sour, wheat, fresh fucking peaches, skins, everything, this is awesome. Mouthfeel is light to medium body, light crisp carbonation, the aftertaste is like I just ate a peach. Overall, good lord they’ve done it again. Amazing amazing stuff.

750ml bottle pours out a hazy pale straw topped with a white head. Nose is like sweet peach juice some funky notes and a little tartness. Taste is more of the nice sweet peach juice some suffer notes and a nice tartness.

750ml bottle @ Matt’s. Pours a cloudy orange yellow colour with a small white head. Nose is sour peaches, funk, and some lacto. Flavour is lightly bitter with some tart peaches. Not bad, but not as flavourful as I would have expected.

Bottle - Peach and some foot notes, with cheese. Cloudy gold with a small white head. Bright and nice acidic notes with a quick short blast of peach. Nose is off putting.

750mL bottle, pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of juicy peaches upfront, moderate funk, and light lacto. Flavour is rather soapy and juicy, with lots of floral, soapy notes, with lots of lacto and a fair bit of pith. Not terribly juicy, as the soap tends to take over. Not overly impressed with this.

Oakes (19045) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 23, 2017
Cloudy pale. Thick head. The aroma is a big stinky, maybe a little bit fecal. On the palate, it’s thin, quite tart, again with the off-putting fecal/footy yeast note. The peach probably left something behind in this beer that messed with the fermentation. Overall, I just can’t shake that character.
