Pouring at the hotel after the RBSG17 Grand Tasting. Pours a hazed gold with a medium sized white head. Acid and a bit of peach, wood. Medium bodied, soft peach fruit roll ups and big citric acid. Big acid lingering on the finish, peach notes as well.

UPDATED: DEC 12, 2017 From a bottle share at the hotel at the conclusion of the RBSG in Boise. In my tasting glass a hazy gold. White foam. Nose of peaches and wood. The flavor is citrus, tropical and stone fruit, and it moves to a funky citrus and peach finish. Good stuff.

Bottle at a share. Quite sour, with enough tartness to make you take a pause after your first sip, but the peaches add a fantastic tannin dryness / fruit sweetness that balances everything very well. Excellent.

750ml bottle @ Matt’s. Pours a cloudy amber colour with a thin white head. Nose has ample peaches and apricots. Flavour is tart with a moderate peach influence. Overall the acidity is up there but the peaches still come through in the finish lingering on the palate.

750mL bottle, pours a cloudy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is loaded with peaches and apricots upfront, not much else to speak of. Flavour is loaded with peaches and apricots, with intense tartness, and light-medium acidity. Very peachy and pleasantly tart. Very good.

Hazy and tan. Not much head. There’s a little bit of pedio that jumps out here, along with light peach. Big, bright peach taste. Tart, almost bracing but the peach sweetness balances it out just enough. Sort of a simple beer, in terms of complexity, but the peach character is so good that I have to upscore it a bit on that account. And that pedio from the nose isn’t there on the palate.
