Bottle pour @ De Garde. Pours light hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma is insane. Sweet berries, perfume, oak, vanilla, funk, soil, citrus, lemon. Taste is alike with a lot of oak, vanilla, lemony tart notes. Damn this is interesting

Sure a lot of de Gardes at the Ratebeer Summer Gathering Grand Tasting. But then there were just a lot of sours. In my tasting gold with a white head. Nose of sour lemon. Medium body. Flavor is sour lemon. Don’t taste the truffles Good.

750ml bottle pours out golden topped with a white head. Nose is unfortunately not truffle but plenty sour funk and barrel. Taste is more of the nice funky sour wood some spice.

Tasted on 8/27/16 from a capped 750mL bottle, big thanks to Adam for sharing. Pours hazy, muted orange with a thick white head that slowly recedes to average lacing. The nose is funky and sour with a very interesting musty mushroom aroma, not sure I would make it to truffle, citrus, with a savory herbal note. The flavor is very sour, funky, tons of nutty, earthy truffle, sea spray, and savory herbal. The body is light with average carbonation, and a long sour, savory, earthy finish.

Bottle 750ml. Pours golden with low white head. Aroma is of metal, citrus, plastic, cardboard. Taste is of sourness, acidity, citrus, cardboard. Palate: Light-medium body, medium carbonation. Overall: Too acid, and no complexity.
