Bottle; hazy gold, rapidly diminishing head; aroma of ripe summer fruits; taste is led by sweetish malts and soft orangey fruit, maybe even a hint of pineapple; a balancing hint of bitterness in the finish; pleasingly light, much better than the Brugse Zot I had the day before; its like a superior, more refined version of Leffe Blonde.

This Belgian Blond pours a very hazy, yellow-gold body with over an inch of off-white head that settles to a wide ring. The nose is bready, slightly sweet, a bit grassy, and fairly spicy, with quite a dusty quality to it, as well as some juniper. Its a malty beer, with yeasty bread and toasty bread crust, but the mildly bitter hops add a floral and somewhat grassy character, and there is a pleasant yeasty spiciness in the finish. The light-medium bodied beer is well-carbonated, but it seems that much of the carbonation goes toward generating the large head, which results in a lower than desired level of carbonation on the palate. Larger patches of lacing stick to the glass. Overall, this beer wont be memorable, but its a pleasant, drinkable Blond to sip on over the course of an evening.

Pale malts, bread, grains and some hops in aroma. The flavor is malty, yeast and a decent hoppiness in finish. A good Belgian Ale.

Pours white-orangey with a short head. Nice yeasty, orange smell (Im sure undeclared orange peel added) also some hop-citrus smell. Nice malty flavor, enveloped in generous hop bittering. Overall better than average, rather nice. Cheers!

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, pale golden colour with a blond medium-sized foamy head. Belgian yeast and slightly bready malt-character with subtle notes of citrus. Mildly sweet and slightly bitter flavour, medium to light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Slightly bready (cara-)malty taste with notes of baking yeast and a moderately bitter hoppy bite towards the finish, accompanied by delicately spicy notes. 01.X.11

Bottle @ benzai. Witbier colour with a small white head. Smells like an overload of coriander. Tasts yeasty and fresh, but theres quite a lot of coriander in there. Okay carbo, medium body.

Bottle @ home, shared with Dutchdrebus and Thompson. Hazy pale yellow color, small white head. Smell and taste spices, koriander I think. Decent carbo, low to medium body. Not really nice.
