(De Graal Quest) Stubby bottle 330 ml at home, served into a big tulip, ABV 9% Golden orange colour on the body, clear and with good activity in it. Huge white head, taking all the glass, thick and with very good retention, helped by its size. The aroma has the usual notes of apricots, light peach, grains, strong alcohol smell here, some dirty straw. The taste is sweet, plenty of malts and grains, alcohol is quite notable, light peach, aoricit, light floral notes. Medium body, good carbonation, slightly dry palate. Standard belgian tripel but then a bit below par.

LOT11501 06/2013... Aroma of sugary peach, almond, sugar cookie, alcohol, fleshy fruit, fermented apple and honey; cloudy golden color, minimal white head; yeasty, fruity, alcohol, really weird maltiness and dustiness in the middle, weird pink peppercorn on the finish that doesn?t fit; medium body, average mouthfeel; something seems off about the flavor, I don?t like this beer at all.

Bottle from Dranken Verheyen in Poppel. The beer is a little hazy yellow colored and pours a large and stable white head, with livingly CO2. The aroma is malty and fruity, with tones of hops, spices, banana and citrus. When smiling you know its a tripel. The taste is as aspected, it starts with a malty bitterness and then comes a sweetness with nice fruit notes. The finish is long and light bitter with some strong alcohol notes.

Hazy golden with a thin foamy white head. Biscuity sweet aroma with a kiss of banana and citrus, maybe a bit of honeycomb. Fizzy body and a full flavor with loads of honeycomb and banana, big tripel esters and biscuity honey malt and a kiss of Belgian dusty blonde malt.
