Ser flott ut når den kommer i glasset. Deilige smaker. Tydelig belgisk preg, masse sødme og alkohol. Fint balansert, deilig ettersmak. GreatLibations (1854) - Last Supper, Arizona, USA - MAY 31, 2011
Pours very dark with fresh spicy aromatics reminiscent of bath beads. A canopy of terminal velocity expands and sticks like a mary lou rettin face plant on the pony boy express. Medium nectar with good carbonation. Very rich and warming with flavors of coffee bean, plum, nectarine, brown sugar. Theres a defined acidity that really holds it all together balancing out all the sugar. The finish lingers long into the session. A classy ale indeed. thooper41 (556) - BELGIUM - JUL 29, 2011
33 cL bottle: Appearance is amber brown with slight white head. Aroma is of roasted malt and pale malt. Flavor is of spices and roasted malt with a unique Belgian twist. beerbastard (844) - Mesa, Arizona, USA - AUG 23, 2011
Nose has toffee, malts, alcohol and a touch of vanilla. Flavors are very complex. I get fruits (pears and oranges), spicey bread, some licorice. A background of brown sugars, some vanilla, alcohol, and yes even a little coconut. It has a full body and finishes slighty bitter and dry. I think this is a great beer and should get a second chance if it was rated poorly. It is very interesting. mutz (1152) - NETHERLANDS - JAN 14, 2012
Heel donker met een goede kraag die behoorlijk aanwezig blijft. Ruikt moutig en ook fruitig. Complexe smaak, er flitst van alles voorbij . Goede fruitig lichtbittere nasmaak. Medium body. Niet te koud drinken. Erg lekker bier.

Smells like Belgian candy sugar. Taste isn’t too far off the nose. So smooth and delicious porterhouse (1580) - Boothbay, Maine, USA - FEB 19, 2012
(750 ml bottle from Bootleggers) Dark brown with reddish-amber highlights. Pale biscuit head that is well-retained. Aroma of dark fruit and chocolate. Mouthfeel soft, smooth and full. Beautiful, well-retained sheets of lacing. Flavor of dark fruit, chocolate and luscious caramel. Not a trace of ABV. Elegant, big and outstanding. vickey9 (1000) - Brussels, BELGIUM - MAR 26, 2012

Pours a slightly hazy copper-brown color, with a small brown head. Aroma of berries and chocolade. Medium bodied, well carbonized. Brown sugar and bready notes, toffee, bitter chocolate, dry plums and berries on palate. Bitter-sweet and spicy finish. [email protected]
33cl bottle. Dark brown colour with medium light brown head, excellent appearance. Aroma is like a sweet cake, taste is also sweet (fruity) with roasted malts and finishes with alcohol notes. Palate is pretty intense, one enjoys the flavours and the perfect carbonation. This is definetely one the best Quadruppels I’ve ever had. b79turner (261) - Birmingham, Alabama, USA - APR 10, 2012
Bottle poured into a tulip glass, pours a dark brown almost black with a large fluffy white head. Nose is tough to describe...almost sweet citrus...caramel maltiness. Taste is similar with a slight bitter finish. Medium carbonation. Almost no alcohol burn. Great beer!
