On tap at ’De Heks’ at 6.2% abv. Slightly hazy, straw yellow with a medium large, creamy, stable, white head. Sweetish-malty, minimally fruity aroma of honey, vanilla and some citrus. Sweetish, fruity-malty taste of vanilla, honey and some citrus, followed by a short, slightly bitter, yeasty finish. Medium to full body, creamy mouthfeel, flat. Okay, a bit dull. Seems like newer versions are brewed by ’Praght’ and differ a bit?! JanEric (1239) - Meppel, NETHERLANDS - NOV 12, 2014

(De Heks Deventer Pyromaan) On tap at Burg Bieren Festival, 200 ml. I didn’t write down where I got this from but they told me it’s brewed for a restaurant, so I guess this is it.
Hazy body, golden orange in coour, with a small white head. Good retention, leaving medium lacing on the glass.
Aroma of manure, barnyard, but not so unpleasant as it sounds.
Taste is of malts, yeast, some brett-like qualities.
Medium thin body, good carbonation, quite dry on the palate.Quite good, very drinkable. tricksta_p (4747) - Steenwijk, NETHERLANDS - JUL 19, 2014
Aroma of light malts, fruits, citrus, orange, a little spices. Flavour is fruity, low sweetness, with a surprising hoppy bitterness in the finish. Excellent for a ’house beer’. goozen (4081) - Leiden, NETHERLANDS - MAR 29, 2014
