On tap @Café Samson, Nijmegen 12/2013. Pours a milkglass straw yellow with ok head. Aroma is a contained, instantly recognisable Low Countries grass & spice, anonymously blending into a rather dull taste profile adding some fruit (apple, apricot) on a fresh brewpub palate designed for chugging. Plus: not a syrupy Belgian oldschool tripel - Minus: lacks direction in what it wants to be instead. Christos (5785) - Arnhem, NETHERLANDS - OCT 30, 2013
On tap at Cafe Samson, Nijmegen. Served into a Trappist kind of glass, with the beer’s logo on it.
Pale golden orange with one finger of white head. Very good retention, it left very thick lacing on the glass after it collapsed and while I was drinking it. Very nice looking.
Aroma is a bit weird, sort of flowery but also with plastic notes, glue, kind of chemical. Thankfully is faint and it doesn’t disturb a lot.
Taste has floral notes and some of the alcohol, mostly on the aftertaste. Light fruity on the finish.
Medium thin body, carbonation is okay.
Overall not that bad, but a bit boring and one dimensional. Still, it manages to satisfy.

on tap.Golden beer with nice head,Simple but ok tripel,easy dreaking.Hops,grass,some citrus,medium bitter,light sweet,little malty. Martinus (4601) - Baarle-Nassau, NETHERLANDS - APR 26, 2011
Golden colour, white head with rather big bubbles.
Sweet malty aroma, bit floral, some hops. Flavour malty, somewhat sweet, no really pronounced hops, regardless the given description. Some lingering sweetness, but all in all rather thin. Bit dull, no way near as flavourful as Helse Engel, the other triple by De Hemel.
