Bottle 500 ml, Appearance: Deep golden orange hazy body, with a 2 fingers mostly thick white head, with very good retention. Head leaves moderate lacing on the glass. Aroma:light fruity, with some floral notes and grains, Taste: Spicey sweet, fruit notes, some yeast and clear malts cardamon seeds, little bit of an orange peel. Medium thin body, good carbonation. Even being past its prime. Its probably the best Hemel bier.

500ml swing op bottle, thanks to Secret Santa. Dark blonde color, mostly clear. Firm off white head with reasonable retention. Aromas of grain, malts, (sour) fruit. Sweet malts, sour fruit, grain and spices (ginger, possibly anise) retronasal. Flavor is moderate sweet, caramellish, a bit herbal spicy. Medium bodied. Finishes rather dry and herbal with moderate bitterness. Not shocking but well crafted.

Bottle 500 ml, bought at the brewery. ABV 6.5%. Poured into a tulip glass. Deep golden orange colour on the body, with a light haze in it. Two fingers of mostly white head, thick, with very good retention. Medium lacing left on the glass. Aroma is light fruity, with some floral notes too and mostly grains, but the combination with the fruit notes makes it quite good. Some yeast and clear malts present as well, after a deep sniff. Taste has some yeast and quite a few spices, cardamon seeds, little bit of an orange peel. Medium thin body, good carbonation. Quite dry palate. Overall quite good, certainly the best I had from De Hemel till now between their bottled selection.

Pours a golden slightly unclear beer with a good white head. Smells sweet, syrup, bit orange and yeasts. Tastes vanilla, very smooth and orange. Nice bitter finish. Low carbo, thin body and a dry texture.

Orange pour with a white head. The aroma has some biscuit and toffee notes. The flavor is similar with some toffee, grass, alcohol and ginger. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
