500ml swing op bottle, thanks to Secret Santa. Dark blonde color, mostly clear. Firm off white head with reasonable retention. Aroma’s of grain, malts, (sour) fruit. Sweet malts, sour fruit, grain and spices (ginger, possibly anise) retronasal. Flavor is moderate sweet, caramellish, a bit herbal spicy. Medium bodied. Finishes rather dry and herbal with moderate bitterness. Not shocking but well crafted. Christos (5909) - Arnhem, NETHERLANDS - DEC 7, 2013
Bottle 500 ml, bought at the brewery. ABV 6.5%. Poured into a tulip glass.
Deep golden orange colour on the body, with a light haze in it. Two fingers of mostly white head, thick, with very good retention. Medium lacing left on the glass.
Aroma is light fruity, with some floral notes too and mostly grains, but the combination with the fruit notes makes it quite good. Some yeast and clear malts present as well, after a deep sniff.
Taste has some yeast and quite a few spices, cardamon seeds, little bit of an orange peel.
Medium thin body, good carbonation. Quite dry palate.
Overall quite good, certainly the best I had from De Hemel till now between their bottled selection. bu11zeye (13239) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - OCT 31, 2013

Orange pour with a white head. The aroma has some biscuit and toffee notes. The flavor is similar with some toffee, grass, alcohol and ginger. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
